How to Find the Carnival Games in 99 Nights in the Forest
Locating Carnival Games in 99 Nights in the Forest involves checking the in-game carnival zones and following in-game hints from NPCs. Look for glow-lit booths along familiar paths near the central plaza, and listen for carnival tunes that signal active games. If you’re unsure, open the map to identify nearby landmarks and return to booths that align with those markers.
With the Hedge Maze Update, the Carnival Games were added in 99 Nights in the Forest. You can find the Carnival Games at a random place in the forest. The exact location of it is unknown, and you cannot spot it on the map as the Carnival always moves around. We suggest you follow the 99 Nights in the Forest crafting recipes and grab some bandages and weapons before going out to find the carnival.
You can find the Carnival Games on Day 1, but the stalls will be closed. After reaching Day 3 or more, you’ll get a message saying “The Carnival is in town.” This means that the games are now accessible. Right in front of the Carnival Games, you’ll find the Haunted Maze.
All the Carnival Games and Rewards in 99 Nights in the Forest
Players can take part in several carnival games throughout 99 Nights in the Forest, each offering a mix of skill and luck. Popular activities include ring toss, balloon pop, and fishing challenges, where performance determines the type of prize received. Rewards range from unique costumes and accessories to special event tokens that can be exchanged for limited-edition items. Completing multiple games boosts your score and increases chances to win rare rewards, making participation a fun way to collect exclusive gear during the carnival event.
There are three Carnival Games available in 99 Nights in the Forest: Ring Toss, Basketball, and Shooting. You can complete each game by earning the right number of points, and earn Carnival Tickets and Candies as rewards. This is a good alternative to the trick or treat event if you want candies in 99 Nights in the Forest. That said, here are the Carnival Games you can play:
- Ring Toss: This game requires you to toss rings onto bottles, and each ring tossed successfully will give you a point. You need three points to get one Carnival Ticket.
- Basketball: Here, you’ll need to toss basketballs inside a hoop, standing anywhere. Doing so will get you a point every time. You need three points to get a ticket from this game.
- Shooting: In this game, you need to aim at moving targets using an Air Rifle. There are a total of five targets, and each target fetches a point. This can be the hardest one, given that the targets are moving very fast. You’ll need to hit all five of them and get a total of five points to acquire a ticket.
You can get a total of three tickets from the Carnival Games, which can be used to unlock the Haunted Maze. Use the candies you earn from here at the Halloween Shop. You can earn five Candies each time you play the game. However, you cannot earn more Carnival Tickets after unlocking the Haunted Maze.

Haunted Maze Walkthrough
The Haunted Maze in 99 Nights in the Forest is a key Halloween event challenge unlocked after collecting three Carnival Tickets from the mini-games. Enter during daytime with bandages, weapons, and food to handle wolves and avoid deer spawns.
Preparation Tips
Stock up on heals and melee weapons before entering, as commitment is required until the exit. Wolves patrol paths, with an Alpha Wolf guarding the center coffin; sprint past or fight them. Dead ends hold candy chests (4-6 each), and a costume booth appears along the route.
Navigation Strategy
Follow the right-hand wall rule: keep your right hand against the hedge wall continuously to reach the center reliably. Red arrows on walls are mostly decoys leading to dead ends, though a few guide correctly-prioritize wall-following over them.
Red Arrow Path Details
No fixed sequence exists due to the maze’s design, but helpful big red arrows occasionally point toward progress amid misleading ones. Wooden arrows in some runs lead to the center coffin and exit, looping back if ignored. Ignore animal symbols (deer, owl, ram) as warnings rather than path guides.
Center and Exit
Defeat the Alpha Wolf, then hold E on the coffin for rewards like Scythe or Bouncing Blade. Exit via the wooden hatch behind it.
How to get Carnival Tickets from each game
Carnival Tickets in 99 Nights in the Forest are earned by completing the three Carnival Games, each rewarding one ticket plus candy upon reaching the required score threshold. Games unlock after day three near the campfire at level 2 or 3, and you get only one ticket per game regardless of excess points.
Ring Toss
Land three rings on bottles to score three points within the time limit. Aim for the pegs with steady tosses; practice improves accuracy despite initial trickiness.
Basketball
Sink three basketballs into the hoop for three points, shooting from any spot but ideally from front-center while timing clicks between timer and score. Each successful hoop counts as one point before time runs out.
Shooting Range
Hit five moving paper targets with the air rifle to earn the ticket. Track their fast paths precisely, treating it like an aim trainer for best results.
Collecting all three tickets auto-unlocks the Haunted Maze gate without manual delivery.
