Grow a Garden Safari Harvest Event Guide Play Collect Points and New Plants Strategy

Guides

Wild blooms meet rare rewards in Roblox’s Grow a Garden Safari Harvest Event, where green thumbs turn adventure into bounty and every seed planted could lead to a hidden surprise worth chasing.

How to Contribute to the Safari Harvest Event in Grow a Garden

Participate in the Safari Harvest Event by planting safari-themed seeds like zebra grass or lion lily, available from the event vendor in the garden hub. Harvest ripe crops before the timer runs out to earn event points and exclusive rewards such as animal pets or themed decorations. Team up with friends through group visits or shared gardens to boost yields and climb the leaderboard faster. Check the event board daily for bonus tasks that multiply your points.

The Safari Harvest is very similar to past events like Summer Harvest in Grow a Garden, Beanstalk, and Fall Event. As mentioned earlier, you’ll find the stack of containers at the center. So, head over there to find the Safari Joyce NPC with blonde hair. Now follow the steps below:

  • Notice the plants that Safari Joyce is asking for at that particular moment, and harvest the same from your garden.
  • Now move close to the NPC and press the ‘E‘ key to interact with her.
  • From the set of dialogues that appear, click on “Submit All” to give her all the required types of plants.

While contributing to the Safari Harvest event, it will be most effective if you can submit hoards of higher-rarity plants because those can yield the maximum points. If you can’t gather those fruits, check out how many points each rarity of plants can contribute to in this event:

  • Common: 1 Point
  • Uncommon: 2 Points
  • Rare: 3 Points
  • Legendary: 4 Points
  • Mythical: 5 Points
  • Divine: 6 Points
  • Prismatic: 7 Points
  • Transcendent: 8 Points

Best plants to contribute for maximum points

Top Plants for Maximum Points
Rainbow variants of requested plants yield the highest points (+3 bonus per submission) in the Grow a Garden Safari Harvest Event, outperforming Silver (+2) and Gold (+1). Prioritize high-value crops like Sugar Apple, Mango, and Coconut when they match Safari Joyce’s rotating requests (e.g., Tropical Fruits), as these base plants deliver substantial points amplified by mutations.

Mutation Strategy
Mutated versions (especially Rainbow) from genetic variation provide the biggest edge, so use fertilizers or events to boost rarity during matching cycles. These outperform standard plants significantly, making them ideal for rapid personal progress toward 500-point rewards and community milestones.

Plant Recommendations

  • Sugar Apple: Tops for Tropical requests due to high base value and mutation potential.

  • Mango: Reliable high-scorer in fruit categories, easy to farm in bulk.

  • Coconut: Excellent for volume submissions with strong point returns.
Focus submissions only on Joyce’s current category (changes every 30 minutes) to maximize efficiency.

How to get mutated plants for more points

Mutation Basics
Mutated plants like Gold (+2 points) and Rainbow (+3 points) submissions give the most value during the Safari Harvest Event when matching Safari Joyce’s requests. Mutations occur naturally over time or through specific items and events, amplifying base plant points significantly.

Key Methods to Obtain Mutations

  • Sprinklers: Stack Basic, Advanced, Godly, and Master sprinklers near target plants (e.g., berries, tulips) to boost Gold/Rainbow chances-place them centrally and leave plants unharvested for 10+ minutes.

  • Items and Positioning: Use Night Staff (Moonlit), Star Caller (Celestial), and Lightning Rod (Shocked) on one garden side; cluster Gold plants to encourage more Golds, and avoid harvesting fruits to maximize mutation probability.

  • Weather and Events: Wait for Wet, Chilled, Frozen, or Disco mutations during weather events or updates-stay in-server during patches for better odds.

Optimization Tips
Leave high-value plants like Sugar Apple or Mango undisturbed for days or weeks to stack mutations, then harvest only when requests match. AFK near sprinklers or use mutation pets for faster results, prioritizing Rainbow for event bonuses.
