Locate Old Taming Flutes inside the pot at the Domestication Cabin, a red tent next to the camp spawn area. Check the Abandoned Animal Shelter for five flutes in animal cages. Trade with the Pelt Trader or select Zookeeper or Beastmaster classes for additional access.
The Taming Flute can be found in the Domestication Cabin, located right next to your camp. Once the round starts and you spawn in the forest, look around. There should be a red coloured tent, with a pot. Inside the pot will be some Old Taming Flutes. You can upgrade the Old Taming Flute into a better one, about which we will talk later.

To upgrade taming flutes, acquire the Old Taming Flute from the animal shelter or Pelt Trader, then play it on nearby animals to fill the yellow XP bar through repeated taming sessions and feeding their preferred treats. Once full, head to the Skills Building or Upgrade Station-a large red structure near camp at Campfire Level 3 or 4-and drag the flute onto its bench for an instant level-up to Good or Strong Taming Flute, which accesses tougher animals and an extra pet slot.
You can upgrade your Old Taming Flute inside the newly added Upgrade building near your camp. The building looks rusty, and inside it, you’ll find a fishing rod and a taming flute upgrade station.
