1. Crimson Thorn

The Crimson Thorn seed is the first Transcendent Grow a Garden plant available in the Seed Shop. This is also the most expensive seed from the regular shop, right after the Romanesco seed. Crimson Thorn is a Prickly and Stalky plant and sells for a base price of 171,000 Sheckles.

Visually, it grows like a crimson Beanstalk plant in Grow a Garden. The crops grow like an inverted burning bud on each stalk of the plant.

2. Maple Resin

Maple Resin was introduced during the Fall Market event. It was the Transcendent Grow a Garden plant, found only in the Fall Seed Shop. Although it has a base price of 171,000 Sheckles, the amount of crop grown on this plant makes it the best seed in the game.

Visually, the crops grow on the bark of the Maple Resin tree in a bulk quantity. Maple Resin has Woody, Fall, Leafy, and Candy traits, making it useful for Grow a Garden events, where you must submit these types of plants.

3. Bone Blossom

Bone Blossom was the first-ever Transcendent plant in Grow a Garden. In the Prehistoric update, the developers introduced the seed to us, and immediately it destroyed Candy Blossom by being the best plant in the game.

However, since its release, we have had a couple of Transcendent seeds in Grow a Garden, each going for a great selling average. The Bone Blossom is a Flower and Prehistoric type of plant.

What Are Transcendent Plants in Grow a Garden?

Transcendent Plants in Grow a Garden are rare, high-tier species that appear once players reach advanced cultivation milestones. They possess unique traits, such as faster growth rates, increased yield, or special visual effects that set them apart from common and exotic plants. Obtaining them often requires rare materials, specific weather conditions, or completing certain challenges, making them a highlight for dedicated gardeners seeking to expand their collections and boost their garden’s performance.

Transcendent is a rarity, first introduced with the debut of Bone Blossom in Grow a Garden. It is the final rarity among the seed tiers in the game. Prismatic was the final tier before Transcendent in Grow a Garden. Seeds like Bone Blossom and Maple Resin are some of the seeds we will never see return to the game.

So, do not miss out on collecting the Transcendent plants that come in the Seed Shop. Just make sure you check regularly for the shop restock. As the Grow a Garden Transcendent plants are the costliest seeds in the game, missing out is not an option.

How to obtain Bone Blossom step by step

Obtaining Bone Blossom
Bone Blossom seeds in Grow a Garden are earned exclusively as the final reward for completing Dino Quests during the Prehistoric Event.
This Transcendent plant requires filling a weekly progress bar through repeated quest completions, with no shop purchase or crafting alternative.

Step-by-Step Guide

  • Visit the central event hub on the island and speak to Blaire, the Prehistoric Quests NPC, selecting “Show me the quests” to view your three active tasks and progress bar.

  • Complete all three quests every 6-12 hours when they refresh (quests reset periodically; examples include planting 100 carrots, harvesting 50 strawberries, crafting lightning rods, or growing watermelons).

  • Accumulate 21 total “ticks” or quest completions to fully fill the progress bar, unlocking the Bone Blossom seed as the final weekly prize.

Tips for Efficiency
Prep materials like seeds (carrots, strawberries, blueberries, apples, watermelons) and crafting items (lightning rods, mutation sprays) in advance to finish quests quickly without waiting.
After claiming, spend 100,000,000 Sheckles or 149 Robux to reset quests and repeat for another seed, restocking all prior rewards.
Stay consistent with every refresh cycle, even if sleeping through one, to reach the goal in about 42-84 hours depending on pace.

Which Dino Quests count toward the Bone Blossom weekly bar

Dino Quests Overview
All standard Dino Quests offered by Blaire count toward the Bone Blossom weekly progress bar in Grow a Garden’s Prehistoric Event.
Every completed quest adds one “tick” to the bar, with 21 ticks needed for the Bone Blossom seed; bonus quests introduced later also contribute without cooldowns.

Quests That Count
Every set of three quests from Blaire progresses the bar equally, regardless of specific tasks.
Examples from the 15 possible quests include:

  • Plant 100 carrots.

  • Harvest 50 strawberries.

  • Craft lightning rods or mutation sprays.

  • Grow watermelons or age pets to specific levels.

  • Open common eggs or release pets like dogs/rabbits.

Progress Mechanics
Quests reset every 6-12 hours, offering three new ones each cycle; claim rewards with Blaire after each completion to register ticks.
The bar fills in segments (every 3 ticks), unlocking interim rewards like Ancient Seed Packs and Volcano Cosmetics before Bone Blossom at 21 ticks.
