Hidden deep within Roblox’s Forge Cult Quest lies a mystery that tests both skill and instinct. This guide breaks down every clue, ritual, and hidden mechanic you need to claim the Dragon Head Pickaxe and rise through the cult’s secret ranks.
So, if you’re among those players who ignored all these features and aimed straight for the pickaxe, hold your horses because you must complete a whole questline to unlock the tool. In this guide, we will break down the step-by-step guide to complete The Forge Cult quest and get all the specific hearts to unlock the Dragon Head pickaxe in the game.
How to Complete The Forge Cult Quest
To complete The Forge Cult Quest, begin by speaking with the Cult Leader located near the lava pits to receive your first task. Gather the required metal shards by defeating nearby enemies and mining ore deposits scattered around the area. After collecting all materials, return to the Cult Leader to craft the Dragon Head Pickaxe using the forge. Make sure to follow the quest prompts carefully, as each step must be completed in sequence to progress. Once the pickaxe is forged, you’ll earn rewards and gain access to new crafting recipes within the quest line.
The Cult quest is available at The Forge Island 3, and therefore, you must meet a couple of requirements to get here. Firstly, you need a portal tool found by completing Sensei Moro’s quests, and secondly, you must be at level 70 to unlock the Frostspire Expanse island.
Once all is done, and you have reached the island, head over to complete the Raven bird’s quests to obtain the Red cave key and unlock the Raven cave in The Forge. Now, you can go inside and reach the glowing red orb crystal at the end. From here, head straight through the leaves to your right. This leads you to a secret chamber with another Raven NPC, then the Dragon Head pickaxe at the center, and three cult NPCs behind.
Note that the pickaxe has a lock symbol as soon as you enter the area. So, now you must complete all three Cult quests to gain access to the tool. The quests can be completed in the following manner.
1. Get the Prismatic Heart for Auron Cult NPC
The Auron NPC in the rightmost position gives you the first quest. So, move near him, and press the ‘E‘ key to interact. He will ask for a Prismatic Heart, and honestly, it’s pretty easy to obtain. Simply head to the Spider Cave in the Frostspire Expanse island, kill a few spiders, and you will get the Prismatic Heart.
However, do note that it’s a legendary item, and you will only have a 1 in 33,333 chance to get the required heart. Once obtained, go back to Auron and submit the heart to him.

2. Get the Yeti Heart for Mjelatkhan Cult NPC
After completing Auron’s quest, you can now interact with Mjelatkhan, who is the second cult NPC standing at the center. He requires a Yeti heart and is slightly difficult compared to the first mission. Yetis are tougher than spiders, with more than 10,000 HP, so make sure you have decent armor and a weapon to defeat them
You can find them at the Peak Cave on the same island. Head there using the cannon, and defeat them to have a 1 in 44,444 chance to get the heart. Once obtained, return to the cave again and submit the item to Mjelatkhan.
3. Get the Golem Heart for Morveth Cult NPC
Now, it’s time for the final cultist, Morveth, the one on the leftmost side. He requires the Golem Heart, and it can only drop from the Ice Golem Boss in Frostspire expanse. The boss will appear at the Summit’s Edge behind the rune door.
This task will not be easy due to the fact that it has a whopping 15,000 HP, and the drop rate for the Golem Heart is just 1 in 55,555. So, get ready for a heavy grind, as getting this heart will take a lot of time. Once done, return to the Raven cave and submit the item to Morveth.
Where to farm Prismatic Heart fastest
The fastest way to farm Prismatic Heart in The Forge is to repeatedly kill the Prismarine Spider boss in the Spider Cave on Island 3 (Frostspire Expanse), using a fast clear route and maxing out your damage and loot bonuses.
Best farming location
-
Go to Frostspire Expanse (you must be at least level 70) and enter the Spider Cave, the first mining area north of town.
-
Follow the path (Frozen Webs → Frost Nest) to the back-left section of the cave where the Prismarine Spider spawns and set this as your loop route.
How to speed up each run
-
Build for high single-target DPS and mobility so you can burn the Prismarine Spider while kiting its ranged attacks and ignoring most trash spiders.
-
Learn its attack pattern and keep moving; the less time spent healing or dying, the higher your kills per hour and chances at a drop.
Maximizing drop chances
-
The Prismatic Heart only drops from the Prismarine Spider, with an extremely low baseline chance (around 1 in 33,333) and a much better rate in certain quest/instance contexts (around 1 in 15).
-
To get it “fast,” prioritize consistent, uninterrupted farming sessions: reset the cave or lobby as soon as the boss dies so you are always fighting the Prismarine Spider, not roaming or mining between kills.
Practical tips
-
Treat it as a long-term grind: plan to farm while also leveling, doing side objectives, or looking for other rare drops so the time feels productive.
-
Keep your first Prismatic Heart for the Raven Cult / Dragon Head Pickaxe questline and only use or sell extras, since refarming is far slower than earning similar gold elsewhere.
Best class or loadout for fast Prismarine Spider kills
The fastest, safest Prismarine Spider kills generally come from a high-DPS melee “glass cannon” setup with good lifesteal and mobility, built around fast weapons and light armor that boosts speed and damage.
Weapon choice
-
Use a fast one-handed sword/dagger with high base damage and attack speed so you can punish every opening and stunlock the spider during some of its animations.
-
Prioritize materials and traits that give bonus damage to monsters, attack speed, and lifesteal or on-hit healing so you can stay in melee without backing off to heal.
Armor and stats
-
Wear lighter armor with swiftness and vitality rather than pure tank sets; the extra movement lets you dodge charges and icicle attacks while still face-tanking with lifesteal.
-
Graphite or similar materials that provide damage reduction on particular hits are strong because they let you survive big telegraphed attacks without losing your DPS uptime.
Playstyle and rotation
-
Learn the boss pattern: block/parry the opening charge and heavy telegraphed hits, then unload combos while its legs are up or it recovers, using your range to stay just outside body clips.
-
Stay aggressive but mobile: circle the arena, dash through or around icicle volleys, and keep constant contact so your lifesteal and damage buffs stay active, effectively “stunlocking” the spider during its safer windows.
