Crackshot Cabin has returned once again, tucked away in a familiar yet changed corner of the Fortnite: OG and Chapter 7 maps. Here’s where you can pinpoint its exact location and what surprises await inside this festive hideout.
Furthermore, the update also brought back the Winterfest Lodge to the menu, which grants players free cosmetics as daily gifts starting now until January 4, 2026. Players also got back the Presents item, alongside the brand new DeLorean vehicle, from which you can get some OG loot on the island.
However, one addition that Fortnite players always look forward to during Winterfest is the iconic Crackshot’s Cabin on the island. If you’re trying to find one this year, we’ve got some good news for you – the cabin is now on the Battle Royale island as well as the OG mode island as well. Here are the Crackshot Cabin locations in Fortnite.
Fortnite Crackshot’s Cabin Location on Chapter 7 Map
Crackshot’s Cabin is located at the snowy peak area in Chapter 7, just north of Sunset Falls and near the northern part of the map, with a landmark cabin resting on a high, exposed ridge. It’s a simple drop if you head toward the peak and glide onto the cabin, where a Christmas tree sits inside and gift-themed chests surround it for loot. This spot mirrors its OG Season 7 placement, but in a new map context, making the cabin easy to spot once near the peak region.
In Fortnite Chapter 7, Crackshot Cabin is located right next to the peak of Sunset Falls, or rather, on the peak north of Lethal Labs POI and south of Clawsy Lodge POI. We’ve marked it on the map below so you can easily navigate to it in Battle Royale or Zero Build.
Once you’re there, you’ll spot Lt. Winter NPC roaming outside, and as you enter, you’ll find at least three loot chests and a Presents item in the cabin. All you need to do now is loot up and eliminate any enemies nearby. Quick tip: You can also hide inside a Snowman outside the cabin and take your enemies by surprise!
Fortnite Crackshot’s Cabin Location on OG Season 7 Map
Crackshot’s Cabin in the OG Season 7 map sits in the snowy western area, north of Frosty Flights and west of Polar Peak, an unmarked spot that’s easy to spot thanks to its gray stone chimney and simple cabin design. You can glide in from the Frosty Flights vicinity, then enter the cabin to complete the quest objective. Loot is scarce but the nearby Gift chests provide a few seasonal rewards to help push through the early-game challenges.
Apart from Fortnite’s main island in Chapter 7, Epic has also added Crackshot Cabin in Fortnite OG mode with its latest Season 7 update. The patch that was deployed with v39.10 that brought a brand new OG Season with iconic POIs like Polar Peak and Frosty Flights with a snow-themed map.
You can find the Crackshot’s Cabin on the OG Season 7 island north of Frosty Flights POI and far west of Polar Peak in the location marked on the map above. Once you land there you’ll find the cabin without any decor outside, but with a Christmas tree inside with Gift-shaped chests around it. Open those chests to get some rare loot and materials.

Place a marker just north of Frosty Flights, on the small cabin sitting on the mountain slope between Frosty Flights and the coast.

Open the current Chapter 7 Battle Royale map and look at the Golden Coast region in the snowy north.
