Genshin Impact Luna IV New Characters

Genshin Impact Luna IV introduces three new characters: Liora, a 5-star Cryo catalyst user from a hidden lunar enclave, wielding mist-shrouded summons for crowd control and burst damage; Thorne, a 4-star Electro polearm claymore hybrid who excels in off-field electro application through thorn vines; and Sable, a 5-star Geo swordswoman with agile swapsword mechanics that trigger crystalline echoes for shields and resonance bursts. Genshin Impact Luna IV will have three new characters – Columbina, Zibai, and Illuga. Columbina

Columbina is the Frost Moon Goddess and was the 3rd-ranked Fatui Harbinger. Being a moon goddess, she has similar or even greater powers than an Archon. Her real name is Hyposelena, and Columbina is the name she chose to use and found acceptance. The Nod-Krai storyline has been revolving around Columbina, so let’s see how it continues in the next version.

Zibai

Zibai is an Adeptus from Liyue, and she draws her powers from the Moon Wheel and not a Vision. She is known to take the shape of a white horse, which coined her nickname as the White Horse Adeptus. During the Archon war, Zibai helped Rex Lapis in attaining supremacy over the mortal realm. Everything revealed about Zibai touches on her elusive nature as an Adeptus, only appearing in Folktales.

Illuga

Illuga is a member of the Lightkeepers in Genshin Impact and the son of Starshyna Nikita. His drip marketing reveals him to be a positive person who manages all tasks efficiently, also offering careful, thoughtful support to his teammates.

Genshin Impact Luna IV will also have two new artifact sets, one buffing ATK and Crit rate, while the other buffs EM and Lunar reactions. The first artifact is clearly for off-field Lunar sub-DPS or supports, while the second one is for Hexerei characters who are DPS or Sub DPS and scale on ATK. Here are the exact affixes of the new Artifact.

Artifact Name Affix
Aubade of Morningstar and Moon 2-Piece: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80.
4-Piece: When the equipping character is off-field, Lunar Reaction DMG is increased by 20%. When the party’s Moonsign Level is at least Ascendant Gleam, Lunar Reaction DMG will be further increased by 40%. This effect will disappear after the equipping character is active for 3s.
A Day Carved from Rising Winds 2-Piece: ATK 18%.
4-Piece: After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, gain the Blessing of Pastoral Winds effect for 6s: ATK is increased by 25%. If the equipping character has completed Witch’s Homework, Blessing of Pastoral Winds will be upgraded to Resolve of Pastoral Winds, which also increases the CRIT Rate of the equipping character by an additional 20%. This effect can be triggered even when the character is off-field.

Genshin Impact Luna IV New Enemies and Bosses Leaked

Several new opponents are rumored to appear in the Luna IV update, including elite enemies tied to the region’s unique elements and combat mechanics. Early leaks mention mechanical constructs and elemental beasts that challenge players with coordinated attacks and environmental hazards. Genshin Impact Luna IV Map Leaked

Columbina kit and abilities leaks

Columbina is a 5-star Hydro Catalyst user from Genshin Impact’s Nod-Krai region, leaked as an off-field support who excels in enabling and amplifying Lunar Reactions (enhanced versions of Electro-Charged, Bloom, and Crystallize).

Normal Attack

Moonlit Dewfall delivers up to four Hydro-infused strikes in a fan shape, with a Charged Attack summoning a larger AoE Hydro crescent. Plunging Attacks apply Hydro on impact and deal splash damage.

Elemental Skill

Gravitational Ripple summons a Tidal Shadow that follows the active character, dealing periodic AoE Hydro DMG. It accumulates Gravity (up to 60) from party Lunar Reactions, triggering Tidal Interference at max based on the dominant type: Lunar-Charged (ATK buff), Lunar-Bloom (interruption resistance + shield), or Lunar-Crystallize (DMG boost).

Elemental Burst

Her Homeland’s Longing creates a Moonlit Domain dealing initial AoE Hydro DMG, then boosts all party members’ Lunar Reaction DMG for 20 seconds (15s cooldown). Inside the domain, ascension passives enhance reactions: faster Lunar-Charged, extra dews for Lunar-Bloom, and double-strike chance for Lunar-Crystallize.

Passives and Constellations

Passives convert standard reactions to Lunar versions team-wide and scale buffs with her Max HP. Key constellations include C2 (faster Gravity + HP/ATK buffs), C4 (energy restore + reaction DMG amps), and C6 (80% CRIT DMG boost per Lunar type in her domain).

Signature Weapon

Nocturne’s Curtain Call (Catalyst) emphasizes HP scaling, reaction amplification, and energy regen, synergizing with Lunar mechanics over raw ATK.

Leaks indicate strong synergy with Zibai and Illuga, though final details may shift in Version 6.3.

Best team comps for Lunar Reactions with Columbina

Lunar Reactions in Genshin Impact, enabled by Columbina, enhance Electro-Charged, Bloom, and Crystallize into stronger variants with extra buffs like DMG amps, shields, or ATK scaling.

Lunar Bloom Teams

These prioritize Dendro + Hydro for sustained AoE healing and Dendro cores that explode harder under Columbina’s buffs.

Main DPS Sub-DPS/Support Support Support
Nefer Columbina (Hydro) Lauma (Dendro) Nilou (Hydro)
Kuki Shinobu Columbina Collei (Dendro) Aino (Hydro)
  • Nefer thrives with Lauma’s resistance shred and Columbina’s off-field Hydro for max Lunar Bloom uptime.

  • F2P swaps: Replace Nilou with Yaoyao; use Fischl for hybrid triggers.

Lunar-Charged Teams

Focus on Electro + Hydro for fast ATK buffs and interruption resistance via Tidal Interference.

Main DPS Sub-DPS/Support Support Support
Flins Columbina Ineffa (Electro) Aino
Ororon Columbina Fischl (Electro) Aino/Sucrose
  • Flins as hypercarry leverages Columbina + Ineffa for peak Lunar-Charged DPS.

  • Sucrose adds EM sharing and grouping for wider reaction fields.

Lunar-Crystallize Teams

Geo + Hydro generates Moondrifts (Geo constructs) for double-strikes and Zhongli synergy.

Main DPS Sub-DPS/Support Support Support
Navia Columbina Zhongli (Geo) Aino/Illuga
Zibai Columbina Navia (Geo) Illuga
  • Navia spams Moondrifts while Columbina + Zhongli shields and boosts.

  • Illuga pairs perfectly as Nod-Krai Geo for artifact synergy.

F2P Option

Columbina + Sucrose (Anemo DPS) + Fischl (Electro) + Yaoyao (Dendro) mixes all Lunar types accessibly. Experiment based on roster, as Columbina fits broadly via HP scaling and reaction flexibility.
