Fortnite CouRageJD Icon Skin Guide December: Free Skins Tournament Bundle

Guides

Fortnite fans are buzzing about the CourageJD Icon Skin, and there’s a clever way to claim it without spending a cent. Here’s how players are securing this exclusive cosmetic bundle before it disappears.

However, streamers are also a part of the series, like Ninja, NickEh30, and Kai Cenat, where fans rush to the in-game Item Shop to purchase their cosmetic items to show their support for their favorite personality. But one Fortnite streamer who has constantly been roasted for not being a part of the Icon Series is CourageJD, and now the OG Fortnite broadcaster is finally getting his own Icon skin in the game. Here’s how you can get the full CourageJD bundle for free before it even releases.

Courage Icon Cup rules and scoring system

The Courage Icon Cup was a Duos Battle Royale tournament held on December 13, 2025, where players earned points through placements and eliminations across up to 10 matches in a 3-hour window. Top leaderboard placements in each region unlocked the full CouRageJD Icon bundle or partial cosmetics, while 8+ points granted a basic 100 Thieves Emoticon.

Scoring Breakdown

Points combined eliminations (1 per elimination) with placement bonuses starting at top 25 (2 points), scaling up to 9 points for Victory Royale, following Fortnite’s standard tournament scoring from the official rules.
Placement multipliers and exact tables were detailed in Epic’s Attachment A on their competitive rules page, with no fixed point threshold for top prizes-instead relying on relative leaderboard rank.
Players needed roughly 200-300+ points to safely hit top placements like top 370 in Europe, depending on competition.

How to register for Courage Icon Cup

Registration for the Courage Icon Cup opened in-game shortly before its December 13, 2025, event date and closed once the tournament window began, so it’s no longer possible to register now. Players accessed it directly through Fortnite’s competitive system without external sign-ups.

Eligibility Requirements

Players needed an Epic account at level 50 or higher, two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, and age 13+.
Non-cabined accounts were required, and duos had to consist of players from the same eligible region without switching.

Registration Steps

  • Launch Fortnite and navigate to the Compete tab from the main menu.

  • Locate the Courage Icon Cup banner, which displayed regional start times and details.

  • Select the event to register your duo team-Epic handled matchmaking automatically during the 3-hour session.

Tournament Access

Once registered, players joined via the standard tournament playlist during the window (e.g., 6-9 PM GMT in some regions). No separate app or website was needed beyond the in-game interface.
