- A little later, turn right again, and you will find the Amber NPC in front of you. To the right of Amber lies a Basalt Vein rock.
- You must break this Basalt Vein, but your pickaxe in The Forge must have a minimum of 78 Mine Power.
- Once inside, you will find a few Volcanic rocks to the left that have a molten lava animation.
- Break these rocks, and it will have a 1 in 5555 chance to drop a Darkryte ore.
This makes the ore one of the rarest resources in the entire game, so it will take some time to grind and obtain the Darkryte. Alternatively, you can also use Lucky totems, Miner Shards, or simply use the best pickaxes in The Forge to increase the odds of getting this ore.

Mine all nearby Basalt Veins and regular rocks first to create spawn space for Volcanic Rocks (molten lava animation).
