Ruling the battlefield in Fortnite Chapter 7 isn’t just about skill-it’s about transformation. Here’s how players are turning their avatars into powerful bosses, mastering new mechanics, and claiming control like never before.
While getting the right weapons can only do so much damage and make you survive, Chapter 7 has brought a new feature that makes you the most overpowered player in the lobby by becoming a boss yourself. You can now become a boss during a Fortnite Battle Royale match and gain some special abilities and weapons that can quickly turn the odds in your favor. If you too want to bask in the sweet glory of villainy, here’s how to turn into a boss in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1 Boss Locations
Each new season in Fortnite introduces fresh boss fights across the island, and Chapter 7 Season 1 is no different. Players can encounter these powerful opponents in areas such as Redline Rig, Grand Glacier, and Lavish Lair, each dropping Mythic weapons and keycards once defeated. Knowing their exact spawn points gives teams a tactical edge, letting them plan their landings and gear routes around high-value loot zones.
To turn into a boss in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1, you’ll need to defeat the three bosses currently roaming the island – Hush, Brutus, and Human Bill. They will spawn at random across the 13 POIs on the map, and there’s no fixed spawn point for them.
However, to make things easier for you, we’ve narrowed down their possible spawn locations into a handy map below:
- At Painted Palms
- At Pumping Station Landmark next to Painted Palms
- At Paws Inn Landmark next to Wonkeeland
- At Sunset Falls Landmark south of Wonkeeland
- At Innoloop Labs
- At Humble Hills
- At Ripped Tides
- At Classified Canyon
How to Turn into a Boss in Fortnite
Master the art of boss transformation in Fortnite Chapter 7 by hunting down rare mythic weapons and completing hidden quests scattered across the island. Activate power-ups at glowing obelisks to gain massive health boosts, enhanced shields, and devastating abilities like shockwaves or homing missiles. Practice precise building techniques to dominate close-quarters fights, while perfecting your aim with sniper rifles and shotguns keeps enemies at bay. Coordinate with your squad using quick pings and voice chat to outmaneuver opponents, turning every Victory Royale into your personal conquest.
As soon as you spot a boss on the mini map with the skull icon at one of the locations on the Fortnite Chapter 7 island, you’ll need to start attacking them with your weapon and eliminate their two henchmen, and then the boss themselves.
To begin with, we found Hush at Painted Palms, and she was quite easy to defeat from close range since she wields a mythic AR, so it’s best to head up close and damage her with a Shotgun. Next up, Brutus usually spawns at the Pumping Station Landmark and can be defeated from mid-range since he uses a double Shotgun. Finally, Human Bill spawns either at Innoloop Labs or Ripped Tides, as per our experience, and can be defeated from long range since he wields a mythic Arc-Lightning Gun.
Once they are defeated, each of these bosses drops mythic weapons and medallions you can interact with. Head closer to the medallion and hold the interact button to turn yourself into a boss. As soon as you become the boss, you’ll be taller than your teammates and enemies and don the disguise of the boss you defeated. Your location will be marked on the map throughout the match; you won’t be able to pick another medallion, and you won’t be able to drop the medallion to revert the boss effect.
The only time you’ll disable the boss effect is when you’re eliminated, and your medallion is up for grabs by other players. Here are all the boss weapons and the abilities their medallions hold that you’ll equip while interacting with a medallion:
| Boss | Mythic Weapon | Medallion Ability |
|---|---|---|
| Hush | Hush’s Deadeye Assault Rifle | Hush’s Kit: Hush’s swiftness grants increased stamina and vitality. Learn from her expertise to quickly dash from one location to the next. |
| Brutus | Brutus’ Twin Hammer Shotguns | Beach Brutus’ Kit: Brutus’ resilience grants increased stamina and vitality. Tap into his power to gain regenerating shields. |
| Human Bill | Human Bill’s Arc-Lightning Gun | Human Bill’s Kit: Bill’s chill mood grants increased stamina and vitality. Chill out to lessen gravity’s pull. |
Hush boss abilities and weaknesses
Hush is a roaming boss in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 1, spawning randomly at landmarks like Ripped Tides or other POIs marked by a skull icon. Defeating her drops the Deadeye Assault Rifle (Mythic) and Hush Medallion, which transforms the user into her boss form.
Hush Abilities
Hush wields the Deadeye Assault Rifle for precise mid-range damage and is supported by two henchmen that must be cleared first. When players equip her Medallion, they gain her signature Zero Point Dash ability-midair teleports for high mobility, repositioning, and evasion-plus standard boss perks like 125 health/shield, infinite stamina, and henchmen summons every 90 seconds.
Combat Weaknesses
Fight at mid-to-long range to exploit her assault rifle’s drop-off in close quarters; avoid her henchmen’s fire by prioritizing them. She’s vulnerable to snipers or SMGs for quick shield breaks, and third parties often swarm boss fights due to map pings, so use natural cover. The Medallion reveals your position island-wide, making transformed users easy targets late-game.
How to dodge Hush heatseeking lasers
Hush in Fortnite Chapter 7 does not fire heat-seeking lasers; search results on dodging such attacks refer to unrelated games like The Binding of Isaac.
Hush Actual Attacks
Hush uses the Deadeye Assault Rifle for accurate mid-range shots, supported by two henchmen who provide covering fire-prioritize eliminating henchmen first to avoid crossfire. No homing projectiles or lasers appear in her moveset; dodge her rifle bursts by strafing sideways, using cover like rocks or buildings at landmarks such as Ripped Tides.
Dodge Tactics
Maintain mid-to-long range where her rifle accuracy drops, and exploit natural terrain for peeks-snipers or SMGs shred her shields quickly. When holding her Medallion, players gain Zero Point Dash for midair teleports, not lasers, enhancing mobility to evade opponents instead. Third parties drawn by boss pings make fights chaotic, so rotate out fast post-kill.
