Fortnite Chapter 7 Pacific Break Full Early Patch Notes
Fortnite Chapter 7 Pacific Break arrives with map changes featuring Pacific islands, new water vehicles, and glider redeploy mechanics. Players gain access to the Battle Pass at level 1, including Pacific-themed skins like a surfer operative and wave rider. Weapon adjustments nerf the Pump Shotgun’s damage while boosting the new Trident launcher for mid-range fights. Creative mode adds Pacific island prefabs and water physics tools. Zero Build mode receives Pacific-specific loot pools with fishing rods that hook enemies.
Return of The Seven
As the name has heavily implied, The Seven are coming back to the Fortnite island to save it once again from the terrors that endanger the Zero Point. The name of the live event and Fortnite referring to the new chapter 7 as Chapter Seven heavily hints at the return of the heroic faction that was last seen in Chapter 4. However, it is currently unknown which members will be making a comeback or whether any new members will be added to the team.
Furthermore, it was also leaked that Epic will be recreating the 6 7 meme in the game as players transition from Chapter 6 to Chapter 7. Cringe, right?
No More Battle Bus, New Hollywood Map, and Wingsuit
In the latest Fortnite teaser, players noticed the Battle Bus being targeted by a mysterious figure, which means it won’t be available for a while as a dropping vehicle when Chapter 7 kicks off. Instead, as per leakers, players will surf on a tsunami to the Chapter 7 island, where you’ll be able to choose between a select drop spots, depending on where you’re embarking the tsunami from.
Furthermore, the new map will be inspired by Hollywood and the West Coast, which means there’ll be plenty of scenic views to bask in and surfing spots to get a good exercise in. Finally, a new gliding mechanic is being introduced with a Wingsuit item that players will be able to claim on the island and will help them traverse the island faster. Remember Just Cause 2? Yep, exactly like that!
Stacked Battle Pass with a Lost Kill Bill Chapter
This year’s Battle Pass is stacked with stunning skins and cosmetic items, and we’ve already got a tease at it, thanks to Epic and content creators who leaked it at the Tarantino event. The pass is headlined by The Bride from Kill Bill, alongside Marty McFly from Back to the Future. Apart from that, 6 original Epic outfits will also be included in the pass, which also features the viral Beach Lion survey skin. However, it’s currently unknown if the leaked DeLorean vehicle will also be a part of the pass or not.
Furthermore, the Kill Bill collab elevates even further with Tarantino’s The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge, airing once Chapter 7 goes live in Fortnite. The animated short is made by Epic and brings Tarantino’s vision for one more Kill Bill story to life. Moreover, players will be able to claim two free Kill Bill skins, Gogo and Yuki Yubari, before the new season begins.
Return of The Queen’s Cradle
According to Epic Co-Founder Mark Rein, the word for this season is Dodecahedron, which means a shape with 12 faces. Usually, that figure is more round than edgy and given by the shape of The Queen’s Cradle from the Chapter 2 Season 8 finale event, players believe it’s making a comeback.
Fresh Loot Pool
A new Fortnite season brings plenty of new loot for players to claim from the island and use. Similarly, Chapter 7 brings some new weapons while unvaulting some weapons from the past. A new M16 Assault Rifle will be one of the main ARs this season, alongside the returning Hammer Pump shotgun, the Pump ‘N Dump, and a modded Enforcer AR. Furthermore, a new Grenade will also be introduced to the game; however, its function is currently unknown.
Self-Revive and Driveable Reboot Vans
Fortnite Chapter 7 is changing the way players will revive and reboot on the island. As soon as the new season goes live, players will be able to revive themselves using self-driving Reboot Vans. That’s right, players will be able to drive the Reboot Vans and take them to any safe spot to make sure that if their teammate is eliminated, they can reboot them on the go. However, it’s currently unknown how exactly you’ll be able to revive in a solo match, though.
VS Bots Mode
Fortnite is finally adding a bots-only mode where you’ll be able to play practice matches on the Battle Royale island before diving into public or competitive lobbies. As public lobbies become more sweaty, full of tryhard players, Epic is embracing the casual, laid-back approach towards Battle Royale that made Fortnite what it is today.
Play as a Boss
Content creators at the Fortnite Chapter 7 reveal event claimed that players will be able to impersonate a Boss on the island, or rather, play as a boss. This was leaked a while back that this feature would be implemented in Battle Royale soon, and now it’s finally ready to arrive in the game. However, it is currently unknown if players will need to spend gold bars on the island to do so or if there’s an item that lets you transform yourself into a boss.
Ice King Stomps Back in OG
Ice King has been a highlight of OG Fortnite seasons as it unleashed the Monster on the island, which led to an epic Mech vs Monster battle. However, the menace returns in Fortnite OG Season 7 with an ice biome and snow all over the island as Winterfest drops soon.
Leaks also hint he’ll be a boss in a dedicated game mode, but it isn’t confirmed yet.
Lisa Headlines Fortnite Festival
Finally, Fortnite Festival Season 12 comes crashing in alongside Chapter 7, with Lisa as the headliner artist. The Thai rapper will take center stage with two stunning skins for players to claim in the Music Pass, alongside some popular Jam Tracks and free instruments.
