Mystic Mirror in Fisch Complete Craft and Use Guide December

Guides

Within Fisch, the Mystic Mirror hums at the edge of perception-a warped portal whispering secrets to those brave enough to listen.

How to Obtain Mystic Mirror in Fisch

To obtain the Mystic Mirror in Fisch, first complete Merlin’s Quest so his crafting option appears for your character at level 30 or higher. Then gather the three required components: buy a Magic Mirror from the Traveling Merchant for 50,000 C$, fish in the Mineshaft with Merlin’s Staff and Merlin’s Veil active to get a Magical Crystal Geode, and catch a Magical Glass Diamond in the Overgrowth Caves using Merlin’s Staff so it mutates into the needed purple variant. Once all three items are in your inventory, talk to Merlin, open his shop or crafting dialogue, and choose the “Deal. (Craft)” option on the Mystic Mirror entry to receive the item and add it to your warp travel tools.

The Mystic Mirror is an item sold by Merlin in Fisch, but it is only unlocked after completing Merlin’s Quest. However, you must craft it using three items: Magic Mirror, Magical Crystal Geode, and Magical Glass Diamond. Once you have the items, go to Merlin and enter his shop section from the dialogue. Select the “Deal. (Craft)” option from the Mystic Mirror option to complete crafting the item.

That said, here are the items you need to get the Mystic Mirror in Fisch, and how to obtain all of them:

1. Magic Mirror

You will find the Magic Mirror at the Traveling Merchant shop for 50,000 C$. Wait for the traveling merchant spawn notification and find him. Once you purchase the item, you can use it to craft the Mystic Mirror.

2. Magical Crystal Geode

To get the Crystal Geode, you must fish at the Mineshaft. Get Merlin’s Veil from Merlin and enter the Chasm to reach Mineshaft. You can get the Crystal Geode there. However, you must use Merlin’s Staff rod to apply the magical mutation to the Crystal Geode.

3. Magical Glass Diamond

To catch Glass Diamond, you must visit the Overgrowth Caves in Fisch. If you have the GPS in Fisch, use it and go to 20301, 272, 5470 coordinates. Here, you must use Merlin’s Staff rod to catch the Glass Diamond with a magical mutation. The Glass Diamond with magical mutation is purple, compared to its usual blue tint.

How to Use Mystic Mirror in Fisch

The Mystic Mirror in Fisch lets players access hidden areas and secrets through its warp portal ability. After obtaining it, equip the mirror from your inventory and approach a designated warp zone. Activate it to open a glowing portal, which transports you to another location or event instance. The mirror has limited charges that recharge over time, so use it strategically to reach rare loot spots or shortcut routes.

Using the Mystic Mirror is different than the Traveler’s Whistle or Magic Mirror. While other items send you to decided locations, this one acts like a warp stone that is operated by you. To use the Mystic Mirror in Fisch, equip it in your hand and create a warp portal at the place you are standing. Now you can go wherever you want and jump back to that place by using the mirror again. You can also remove the portal by pressing the creation button.

Where to find Magical Crystal Geode

Magical Crystal Geode in Fisch comes from fishing in the Mineshaft area inside the Chasm, and you must use Merlin’s Staff so the catch turns into the magical (mutated) version instead of a normal Crystal Geode.

Exact Location

  • Go to The Chasm, then enter the Mineshaft fishing spot; this underground area is where Crystal Geode is obtainable as a Legendary fish.

  • Stand at any fishable water inside the Mineshaft and start fishing there; the Geode does not drop from normal ocean or surface spots.

Required Gear and Conditions

  • Equip Merlin’s Staff rod because it gives the Magical Mutation effect, which is required to turn a normal Crystal Geode into a Magical Crystal Geode.

  • Using an Aurora Totem (if you have one) speeds up Crystal Geode spawns, making it much easier to get the magical version quickly.

Catching Tips

  • Crystal Geode is a Legendary, so expect rare bites and a very erratic movement pattern on the bar; be ready for sudden shifts.

  • Stay in the Mineshaft for a longer session instead of moving around a lot; continuous fishing there maximizes your chance of hooking a Crystal Geode, which the staff will then mutate into the magical variant.

Best fishing rod to increase Crystal Geode drop rate

For increasing Crystal Geode drops in Fisch, the best rod to use specifically for this item is Merlin’s Staff, not a generic high-rarity fishing rod.

Why Merlin’s Staff Is Best

  • Crystal Geode only comes from the Mineshaft fishing spot in the Chasm, and the version needed for crafting Mystic/Mystic Mirror is the Magical Crystal Geode.

  • Merlin’s Staff gives a magical mutation effect to catches, turning a normal Crystal Geode into a Magical Crystal Geode, which is what you actually need; other rods may have better general stats but cannot apply this mutation.

Practical Setup

  • Use Merlin’s Staff whenever you are fishing in the Mineshaft for Crystal Geode so every Geode you hook has a chance to become the magical variant automatically.

  • Combine the staff with strong bait/totems (like Aurora Totem if you have it) to increase spawn and bite rates; the rod controls mutation, while your other gear improves how often you see Crystal Geode at all.
