Fortnite Stranger Things Vecna Skin Acquired Using Limited Edition Cup

Guides

Unlock the shadowed corridors of Fortnite to chase a Vecna skin that hides in plain sight, a perilous raffle where only luck and persistence grant the ultimate cosmetic prize.

The upcoming Chapter 7 is already looking stacked with a teased Kill Bill crossover, a Back to the Future collab, and more are coming soon. But before that, the Stranger Things crossover has arrived in Blitz mode with a brand new Upside Down map and more cosmetic skins that players can get in the game, including the Vecna skin. Here’s how you can get him for free in the game.

How to Get Vecna Skin for Free in Fortnite

Shortcuts to Vecna’s look in Fortnite aren’t officially supported; any free skin methods are typically limited to promotional events or in-game challenges tied to special collaborations, and these usually require earning through legitimate gameplay or purchases.

Fortnite players can get a chance to claim the Vecna skin for free by playing the Stranger Things Cup on November 21, 2025. The cup is only available in ME, EU, BR, and NA regions, and timings will differ per region, as seen in the Compete tab in-game.

Players who earn 8 points will receive the free Natural 20 Emoticon; however, top players in each region will win the Vecna outfit and Creel’s Clock Back Bling. The tournament will take place in Blitz mode and is available for PC, Console, and Mobile.

Here are the start times for the cup in each region and platform:

  • Middle East: 7 AM (Mobile) / 9 AM ET (Any Platform)
  • Europe: 11 AM (Mobile) / 1 PM ET (Any Platform)
  • Brazil: 1 PM (Mobile) / 3 PM ET (Any Platform)
  • NA: 2 PM (Mobile) / 3 PM ET (Any Platform)

Furthermore, if you’re wondering what the top players in each region could look like, here’s a breakdown for each platform:

  • ME – Top 45 (Mobile) / Top 425 (Any Platform)
  • EU – Top 220 (Mobile) / Top 2,100 (Any Platform)
  • BR – Top 60 (Mobile) / Top 575 (Any Platform)
  • NA – Top 175 (Mobile) / Top 1,700 (Any Platform)

When is the Stranger Things Blitz Cup scheduled in my region

The Stranger Things Blitz Cup does not have a single universal time; it is tied to your in-game competitive region and shows up on your personal event schedule.

What the global schedule was

  • The original Stranger Things Cup that awarded early access to the Vecna skin was held on November 21, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM Eastern Time and running for 90 minutes.

  • It was available only in ME, EU, BR, and NA regions; players outside those regions could not participate in that cup.

How to see it for your region

Because the schedule is region- and account-specific, the exact start time for “your” region must be checked directly in Fortnite:

  • Open Fortnite → go to the Compete tab → select the Stranger Things Cup / Stranger Things Blitz Cup tile. The start and end times shown there are already converted to your local time zone.

  • If you play on mobile or a different platform, the same times are mirrored on the official Fortnite Competitive schedule site once you log in with your Epic account and region, but you must be signed in to see the events you qualify for.

If you do not see the cup

  • If the cup is missing from the Compete tab, it usually means the event window for your region has already ended or has not yet been announced.

  • In that case you will have to wait for Epic to schedule a rerun or a new Stranger Things event; upcoming competitive events always appear first in the in-game Compete tab and on the official competitive schedule page.

What time does the Blitz Cup start in my timezone

The Blitz Cup start time is different for every player because Fortnite automatically shows it in your own local time zone in the game and on the competitive website.

How to see the exact time

Since the schedule is personalized, the only reliable way to know your start time is:

  • Open Fortnite, go to the Compete tab, and select the Blitz Cup / Stranger Things Blitz Cup tile; the event window there is already converted to your device’s local time.

  • Alternatively, visit the official Fortnite competitive schedule while logged into your Epic account; events there also appear in your local time rather than a fixed global zone.

Why a universal answer is not possible

  • Epic does not publish a single global start time; each region gets its own ~90-minute session, and the exact times are only exposed in the in-game event window per region.

  • Without knowing your region and seeing your in-game Compete tab, it is not possible to state the precise clock time for your Blitz Cup session.
