Fisch Dreambreaker Rod Guide: Roblox Quest Find the Rod In-Game Stats

Guides

The Dreambreaker Rod isn’t just another piece of fishing gear in Fisch – it’s a rare catch prized for its sleek design and powerful stats. Here’s how players can track it down, what makes it stand out, and why it’s worth every cast.

How to Unlock the Dreambreaker Rod in Fisch

Reach level 500 and head to the Cultist’s Lair on Terrin Island to speak with The Restless One, who assigns a series of quests. Complete tasks to gather the Dreamer’s Amulet by collecting its five fragments from nearby NPCs, craft a Lucid Rod to fish up a Lucid Enchant Relic, then secure items like a Lucid Speed Core, Lucid Cathulid, Phantom Cathulid using the Eidolon Rod, and either a Lucid or Profane Leviathan. Pay C$10,000,000 and hand over all required pieces to receive the rod.

The Dreambreaker Rod can be obtained by completing the whole questline of ‘The Restless One‘ NPC at the Cultist Lair in Fisch. Once inside this area, head over to the NPC to the right of the central pool and interact with him by pressing the ‘E‘ key. His first task will be to hand him the Dreamer’s Amulet, but it won’t just stop there. So, to make things easier for you, we have given below the whole list of quests that The Restless One will give you in the same order:

1. Return the Dreamer’s Amulet

To make the Dreamer’s Amulet in Fisch, players must first complete the side quests of all other NPCs in this location. Completing them will give you the following Amulet Fragments:

  • Maelira’s Amulet Fragment
  • Eldran’s Amulet Fragment
  • Kareth’s Amulet Fragment
  • Sythra’s Amulet Fragment
  • Varn’s Amulet Fragment

Once you have all these fragments, head to the last level, that is, the Sanctum area of the Lair, to find the Amulet NPC. Interact with her to finally get the Dreamer’s Amulet. Now, you can head back to the Restless One to hand him the item.

2. Return a Lucid Enchant Relic

Now, this quest and most of the others below will require you to craft the Lucid Rod first. It can be made in the Ancient Archives once you have the Lunar Thread, Lucid Reel, the Cursed Torch Scrap Metal, and 80,000C$.

Next, you can fish anywhere in the game to get an Enchant Relic with the Lucid mutation on it. Currently, there is no other way of getting this mutation, nor can you appraise it as well. Having found the Relic with the mutation on it, you can return it to the NPC.

3. Return a Lucid Speed Core

This quest will require you to fish in the waters near Sunstone Island, where the Speed Core can be caught. However, you will definitely require the Lucid Rod first, and then you can fish to get the Speed Core with the Lucid mutation.

4. Return a Lucid Cathulid

With the Lucid Rod, you must fish in the pools of either the Hall of Whispers or the Passage of Oaths, inside the Cultist Lair. These are the only places where you can catch the Cathulid in Fisch.

5. Return a Phantom Cathulid

In this quest, you need to get the Eidolon Rod first from the Sanctum area in Fisch. Having interacted with all the Obelisks in the Cultist Lair will give you access to the Eidolon Rod that you can purchase by paying 5,000,000C$.

With the rod, you can fish in the waters of the Hall of Whispers and the Passage of Oaths to get the Pahntom Cathulid. Since there is a 35% chance of the rod applying the Phantom mutation, it will be an easy task.

6. Return a Lucid Leviathan or a Profane Leviathan

Now, for this task, you must head to the Sanctum, where you must manually summon a Leviathan Hunt event. To summon the event, the following fishes are required to be placed on the pedestals around the pool:

  • Solarblaze Cathulid
  • Nova Cathulid
  • Rainbow Cluster Cathulid
  • Aurora Cathulid
  • Purified Cathulid

Once all these fishes are placed on the pedestals, a Leviathan Hunt event will occur, along with a 10% chance to summon the Profane Leviathan Hunt event. So, you can either wait for the latter or use a Lucid Rod to catch the Leviathan and get a Lucid mutation on it. Once done, return to the NPC and submit it to him

After this quest is completed, you can talk to the Restless One NPC again, and he’ll offer the Dreambreaker Rod, only if you give him 10,000,000C$ and you’re level 500 and above.

Best Enchants for Dreambreaker Rod in Fisch

Sea-focused enchants work best on the Dreambreaker Rod, since they scale its already high luck and infinite Max KG into much larger, more valuable fish. If you have access to Exalted and Cosmic Relics, aim for Sea Overload plus Sea Prince, as this combo heavily boosts fish size and money gains during long grinding sessions. Players without those relics should prioritize Sea King, which still provides a strong all-round increase to catch size and income while keeping the rod flexible for different spots and weather conditions.

The Dreambreaker Rod has balanced overall stats, and therefore, you can focus on other aspects like getting bigger fish or catching them instantly. This can be achieved if you apply enchantments like the Sea Overlord that massively boost fish size.

While others, like the Cryogenic, can freeze fish at a place while reeling them in, and Flashline can grant bonus progress speed while fishing. So, here are the enchantments you can consider applying to the Dreambreaker Rod in Fisch.

  • Sea Overlord: 40% Fish Size
  • Cryogenic: 20% chance to freeze fish in the first second
  • Flashline: 20% chance for 80% progress speed, 80% chance for 20% progress speed

Top Enchantments

Sea Overlord (or Sea King as a fallback) paired with Sea Prince from Cosmic Relic stands out as the optimal combo, drastically increasing fish size and weight to synergize with the rod’s infinite max weight and 215% luck. These turn average catches into massive earners, especially at night when size scales up 50% and Distraught mutation odds hit 35%.

  • Sea Overlord/Sea King: Boosts fish size for higher base value; Overlord is elite-tier from Exalted Relic, while King works without it.

  • Sea Prince: Adds further size scaling and control, perfect for grinding spots like Sunstone Island.

  • Cryogenic: Freezes tough fish to ease control during longer night fights with oversized targets.

  • Invincible or Hasty: Provides burst progress or speed scaling to complement the rod’s night slashes (33% chance every 0.25s for 5% progress).

Day vs. Night Optimization

During day, prioritize Hasty or Momentum for faster clears leveraging the 15% progress bonus and smaller fish. At night, stick to size-focused setups like Sea Overlord + Sea Prince to exploit bigger fish and higher mutations for maximum currency.

Why These Maximize Performance

This setup pushes Dreambreaker’s versatility to end-game limits, yielding the highest money per hour in zones like Roslit Volcano by combining raw stats with multiplicative size/value effects-no other rod matches this post-Stage 11 synergy.

How to get Sea Overlord enchant

Sea Overlord enchant boosts fish size by 25% in Fisch, making it ideal for maximizing Dreambreaker Rod’s performance by amplifying night-time size increases and value potential.

How to Obtain

Sea Overlord comes from using Exalted Relics at the Keeper’s Altar beneath the Statue of Sovereignty, typically at night for best results. First acquire Exalted Relics through two main methods, then enchant your rod (like Dreambreaker) by holding the relic and interacting with the altar.

  • Complete “The Keeper’s Secret” quest in Mushgrove Swamp: Find the hidden elevator, place seven specific mutated Enchant Relics (Fossilized, Hexed, Crystalized, Atlantean, Greedy, Translucent, Mosaic) on pedestals to unlock the Rod of the Exalted One and gain three Exalted Relics.

  • Fish randomly anywhere: Low 1/2000 chance per catch, unaffected by weather or time; the Rod of the Exalted One boosts this rate.

Enchanting Process

Head to Statue of Sovereignty at night (use Thile Totem if needed), purchase elevator access for 400 C$, descend to Keeper’s Altar, select your rod, and use Exalted Relics until Sea Overlord procs-bring 10-20 for reasonable odds. It may overwrite prior enchants, so target a high-value rod like Dreambreaker.

Why for Dreambreaker

This pairs perfectly with Dreambreaker’s infinite weight, 215% luck, and night passives by creating oversized, high-mutation fish for top money/hour in zones like Roslit Volcano.
