Scratchy Boss Arrives

Walk closer and interact with the television, and suddenly Scratchy will pop out of the TV with a chainsaw and chase you. Defeat him to get the mythic Cartoon Chainsaw item.

Watch Out for Donut Storm!

Donut Storms have been enabled and randomly during a Fortnite Battle Royale match you’ll see donuts falling from the sky around multiple areas on the island.

Watch out if you’re inside the Donut Storm area, as if any of the donut falls on you can deal some serious damage to your health bar, and can even eliminate you completely.

Live Event Countdown

The current Fortnite update has added event files for the Chapter 6 finale event and as per dataminers, players will see an event countdown on the Springfield Town Square POI right above Jebediah’s statue.

As of now, the timer is disabled, and leakers speculate this would be enabled sometime next week or a week before the live event takes place on November 29, at 2 PM ET.

How to get the Cartoon Chainsaw mythic

To get the Cartoon Chainsaw mythic in Fortnite’s Simpsons Season, defeat the Scratchy Boss. This weapon drops directly from him after victory.

Finding Scratchy

Scratchy spawns from interactable, flickering TVs playing Itchy & Scratchy clips, marked on the mini-map across the map. Approach any such TV and hold the interact button to summon him-he’ll emerge wielding his own chainsaw and attack immediately.

Defeating the Boss

Equip close-range weapons and max shields beforehand, as Scratchy’s melee attacks hit hard. Once eliminated, he drops the Cartoon Chainsaw (Epic rarity, but mythic-tier power with high damage, mobility via riding, and chopping utility) alongside other loot.

Other Sources

Rarely, the Chainsaw appears in random chests, but boss fights guarantee it. It ties into the v38.10 November 11, 2025, update during the Simpsons collaboration.

Where to find the flickering TVs that summon Scratchy

Flickering TVs that summon Scratchy spawn randomly across the Springfield Island map in Fortnite’s Simpsons Season. They appear between the 1st and 5th storm circles, with higher chances near Springfield Town Square.

Identification Tips

Look for TVs playing Itchy & Scratchy clips with a glitched, flickering screen-you’ll hear the theme music nearby. An icon marks Scratchy’s potential spawn on the mini-map once you’re within 100 meters.

Hotspot Areas

Players report frequent spawns around Springfield Town Square, Cletus’ Cornhole (top-left near gas station), Evergreen Terrace, and Clay’s Clone Ho. Drive or vehicle around post-landing, constantly checking the map for the icon.

Summon Process

Approach the TV, hold the interact button (e.g., square on PlayStation) to investigate-Scratchy bursts out wielding his chainsaw. Prepare shields and close-range weapons beforehand.
