Hidden deep beneath Fisch’s twisting alleys lies the Cultist Lair-a forbidden zone shrouded in secrets and strange rituals. Here’s how to reach it before others even know it exists.
How to Reach Cultist Lair in Fisch
Head to Terrapin Island and move to the backside of the area, then use your GPS to line up with coordinates around 0, 150, 2000 near the rocky cliffs. Climb up the rocks behind the fishing NPC and search for a leaf-covered cave entrance that blends into the terrain. Slip through this hidden cave to reach the Terrapin Hideaway section, then interact with the mechanism or portal inside to access the Cultist Lair itself.
To get to the Cultist Lair in Fisch, you must go to Terrapin Island first. Once there, use the Fisch GPS and locate the Sea Traveler at these coordinates: 151, 150, 2033.
1. Get Sea Traveler Note
Talk to the NPC multiple times, then catch the Sea Turtle from the Terrapin Bestiary. Now hold the Sea Turtle and talk to the NPC again. He will give you the Sea Traveler Note.
Note: You can skip this part as you already know the coordinates to the cave.
2. Find the Terrapin Hideaway
In the Sea Traveler Note, you will find the coordinates: 0, 150, 2000, which takes you to the Cultist Lair. To find it, look for the NPC fishing on the backside of Terrapin Island. From there, climb the rocks and find the cave hidden with leaves.
3. Unlock Cultist Lair Entrance
Once you are inside the cave, you will need two Fisch totems: Sundial and Smokescreen. If it is already not night, use the Sundial to make it night. Then use the Smokescreen totem to make it foggy. The Cultist Lair opens in Fisch when it is night and foggy. This will show a lever that you can interact with to open the Cultist Lair entrance.
What items are needed to unlock the first Cultist Lair door
To unlock the first door (Door 1, leading to the Hall of Whispers) in Fisch’s Cultist Lair, gather three specific items and place them correctly on the pedestals near the door.
Required Items

Albino Moon Wood: Fish with a rod enchanted with Noir (or similar dark enchantment) or appraise a regular Moon Wood until it mutates into the albino variant.

Sparkling Enchant Relic: Obtain via fishing, chest drops, appraisal mutation of a standard Enchant Relic, or purchase from Merlin’s Shop on Sunstone Island.

Key of Whispers: Fish in the pool of water directly in front of Door 1 inside the Cultist Lair (use a high-luck rod like No-Life or Free Spirit during daytime for better odds).
Unlocking Steps

Place Albino Moon Wood on the left pedestal.

Place Sparkling Enchant Relic on the right pedestal.

Equip the Key of Whispers and interact (hold E or equivalent) with the yellow lock/door center.
This activates an elevator to descend into the Hall of Whispers; no specific time or weather is required here beyond accessing the lair itself.
Where to fish for the Key of Whispers fastest
The Key of Whispers is fished exclusively from the small pool of water directly in front of Door 1 inside the Cultist Lair in Fisch.

That’s the only location to catch it, as it’s an exotic-rarity item tied specifically to that pool (no other waters in the lair or elsewhere drop it).
Speed Tips

Fish during daytime for higher spawn odds (use Sundial totem to set day if needed).

Equip a high-luck rod like No-Life Rod, Free Spirit Rod, Random Rod, Ruinous Oath, or Fabulous Rod.
