The shop’s selection changes periodically throughout the event, so it’s worth checking often to grab exclusive pieces before they’re gone.

How to Get Candies in 99 Nights in the Forest

Collect Halloween Candles by defeating cultists, looting chests, or spotting them on the ground during runs. Drag candles to houses with decorations to light them up, then knock on doors at night for candy rewards, though tricks may occur. Additional sources include lobby scavenging up to three pieces, specific dialogue with Happy for three more once, carnival game wins for five each, hedge maze Halloween chests with four guaranteed, and redeeming codes like “happy Halloween.”

You can get Halloween Candies by Trick-or-Treating the NPCs in a game round. Use Candles obtained from Cultist drops and chests to light up the NPC houses. Visit them at night, and knock on their door to get Candies.

You can also find Candies in your in-game lobby before starting your game. Check all the corners, behind the Scarecrow NPC, and the Update Sign Board, to find some candy. We are not sure about the spawn time of these, but we noticed that they spawn once in a while after each game. Moreover, 99 Nights in the Forest codes will give you a handful of candy.

  1. I have a question.
  2. Who are you?
  3. How do you stay so happy?
  4. Way too deep man, can I have some candy?

How to get candy fast in 99 Nights Halloween event

To get candy fast in the 99 Nights in the Forest Halloween event, focus on trick-or-treating at decorated houses and potion brewing during runs, as these yield the most reliable rewards.

Trick-or-Treating Method

Light candles at Halloween-themed houses scattered in the forest during nighttime runs to activate doors, then interact for 3-4 candies per house (more with Trick or Treater class).
Obtain candles from cultist drops, chests, or buying from NPCs; prioritize houses near your path and use the class perk for extra candy and candle drops.

Potion Brewing Exploit

Start party runs and mass-produce potions using gathered ingredients like flowers, seeds, coal, bunny feet, and fish-each successful brew gives 5 shared candies to the team.
Fish in blue ripple pools for quick mackerel, kill bunnies/wolves early, and divide tasks (one crafts, others gather/firekeep) for 200+ candies per hour safely without combat risks.

Quick Lobby Boosts

Collect free candies hidden in lobby spots like behind the scarecrow or maze chests (up to 3-4 total), talk to Happy the Halloween Guy once via specific dialogue for 3 more, and win carnival ticket games for 5 each.
Redeem event codes if active for instant candy.

Prioritize Trick or Treater class first from the shop to amplify all methods, then scale with teams for peak efficiency.

Best routes to trick-or-treat houses at night

In 99 Nights in the Forest’s Halloween event, the best trick-or-treating routes prioritize clusters of decorated houses near safer forest paths to maximize candy while minimizing enemy encounters at night.

Central Forest Loop

Head straight from spawn to the first cluster of 3-4 houses around the central clearing (near the big oak tree); light candles quickly and loop clockwise to hit two more nearby without backtracking. This route yields 12-16 candies in under 5 minutes, especially with Trick or Treater class for speed.

Riverbank Path

Follow the river east from the bridge for a linear chain of 5 houses along the water-low enemy density here lets you focus on doors; end by cutting north to a lone house for bonus candy. Ideal for solo players, netting 20+ candies safely.

Hilltop Cluster

Climb the hill northwest of spawn to find 4 tightly packed houses at the top; use high ground for visibility on cultists, then descend via the south trail back to base. Best with a team for 25-30 candies, as it has higher rewards but some wolf spawns.

Combine routes by starting with Central Loop during early night, switching to Riverbank as darkness deepens; always carry 10+ candles from cultist drops.
