What is Miliastra Wonderland in Genshin Impact?

Miliastra Wonderland serves as Genshin Impact’s user-generated content system, where players build and share custom stages using a sandbox editor on PC. Access occurs after finishing the Knights of Favonius sub-quest in the Prologue: Act I Archon Quest, with a related item from Venti’s Paralogism quest offering entry advantages. Players craft domains akin to Divine Ingenuity or Serenitea Pot but with greater freedom, play community creations through Explore Wonderlands, level up their Wonderland for rewards like cosmetics and materials, and use a Manekin avatar in the open world.

Miliastra Wonderland is the new UGC mode in Genshin Impact that will release with version Luna II. This new mode will grant players creative freedom to design their own mini-games within Genshin Impact. The games created can be set to either private or public, allowing both you and others to enjoy them.

Miliastra Wonderland Gameplay

With the creative side sorted, what about the gameplay? From what we have seen in the trailer, players can join different games and play them with their new Miliastra Wonderland-specific character. Every character can be extensively customized to the player’s liking, including clothes, accessories, hairstyles, and more.

One restriction players will face is that they cannot bring their in-game characters to Miliastra Wonderland. This may be changed later, but it is likely done to avoid any unnecessary animation differences between the chosen characters.

Miliastra Wonderland Monetization

To all the creators who are looking to create games, don’t worry, as your hard work will be compensated by Hoyoverse. Genshin Impact Miliastra Wonderland will have a monetization system in place for creators. Although the details related to monetization are yet to be revealed, creators can expect compensation based on the player count for their games.

Also, the Miliastra Wonderland monetization may be delayed a couple of versions after the mode is released. The Luna I livestream did reveal that version Luna IV will introduce the new earning system for creators.

With so much customization available, you may be wondering about the method to get the individual items. Some of the customizable items in Miliastra Wonderland are for free, while the others are part of the new gacha system. Yes, Miliastra Wonderland has a separate gacha system. The following section will help you figure it out.

Miliastra Wonderland Gacha Mechanics

Obviously, Miliastra Wonderland will also have a separate gacha mechanic. However, this time you won’t be pulling for playable characters, but for cosmetics instead. The cosmetic items in the Miliastra Wonderland are called ‘Encounter Echoes’, according to leaks. These items are separated into 4-star, 3-star, and 2-star rarity. The 4-star items are complete character uniform sets, exclusive emojis, and stickers. The 3-star and 2-star items are individual cosmetics that can be equipped separately on your character.

As per leaks, the gacha system uses a new currency named ‘Ode’. We currently don’t know how to obtain this new currency, but I assume it would be tied to playing the different UGC games. Now, the gacha system also has a pity, giving one confirmed 3-star item for every ten pulls. Other than that, you can also expect exclusive outfits to also rotate in the banners with an increased chance, like normal banners.
