Where to Find Meteors in 99 Nights in the Forest
Meteors appear during meteor shower events starting from Day 5, signaled by a cutscene of cultists and skies on fire. Crash sites form craters scattered across the map in areas like the forest or volcano biomes, marked by central lava pools ringed by spiked red rocks, with no map icons to guide players. Search near impact zones spotted during the fall or stumble upon them while moving through terrain, clearing meteor crabs and wolves before mining the outcrops for shards.
Players can find meteors only after the Meteor Shower has occurred in the game. The Meteor Shower happens randomly after you reach day 5 or later. Once the Meteor Shower is about to start, a text will pop up, “The sky is on fire.” Following the notice, the sky will turn red, and you’ll witness a breathtaking meteor shower.
Meteors will fall from the sky and crash in the forest. Make sure you keep an eye on the area where the meteor crashed. Navigate to the area, and you’ll find a meteor crater containing meteors. The meteors can be mined using certain tools that we will share later.
