Fisch Valentine Chocolates Guide

Guides

Sweet rewards await in Fisch’s Valentine’s Update – here’s how to collect chocolates, use them in the event shop, and make the most of every heart-filled trade.

How to Obtain Chocolates in Fisch

You can obtain chocolates in Fisch by completing limited-time quests during the Valentine’s Update, trading with event NPCs for specific bundles, and purchasing exclusive chocolates from the event shop using the update’s currency.

There are just a couple of ways to get chocolates in Fisch right now, and that is by completing the NPC quests, by selling Valentine’s event limited fishes on the brand new island called the Sweetheart Shores, or redeeming Fisch codes. Now, to reach this location, you must be at Moosewood for quick access.

Once at Moosewood, you will get the teleportation area right in front of the Shipwright. There, you will find a small pink heart above which “the Valentine’s event” text is hovering. Just walk through the portal, and you will land on Sweetheart Shores. Now follow the two methods to get chocolates in Fisch.

Completing Valentine Quests

Here you will find some NPCs scattered all across the island. A few of them will give you solo quests, while others will ask you to get a partner first. Now, in order to get a partner, you can click on the Duo button on the bottom left and send a request to anyone on the server. Once they accept, you guys can complete the duo quests together. You can use the set of best fishing rods in Fisch to get all the required fish in the quests.

Having completed the quests, you can head back to the NPCs, interact with them, and get your rewards. This is the fastest way to earn chocolates right now in Fisch Valentine’s event.

Selling Fish to the Valentine’s Merchant

The second way is to sell all the limited fish you catch on the Sweetheart Shores island. This is a sideline, and let’s say an idle method to earn chocolates. This is because you will most likely complete the quests, and that requires fishing on the island.

So, why not sell those extra fish you catch and earn some extra chocolates along the way? The Valentine’s Merchant sits in the shop area opposite the Sweetheart Sarah NPC. Head there, interact with that NPC, and sell all your fish.

All Uses of Chocolates in Fisch

Chocolates in Fisch serve several purposes during the Valentine’s event. Players can trade them in the Event Shop for limited items, special fishing rods, and themed accessories. Some quests require collecting chocolates to progress or earn exclusive rewards. They also act as a gift currency between players, adding a fun social touch to the event. Saving extra chocolates can be useful, as certain NPCs may accept them for rare or seasonal bonuses later in the update.

Once obtained, you can use the chocolates to buy the items from the Sweetheart Shores shop area. Here, you can buy the Fischversation Hearts Box, the Giant box of Chocolates, the Rose Rod, and even the Cupid Relic that gives you a chance to get the sweet enchant on the fish you catch.

What are all purchasable items in Sweetheart Shores Event Shop

In the Sweetheart Shores event shop, you spend Chocolates on a small set of Valentine-exclusive items and a couple of hidden/secondary shop options.

Main Sweetheart Shores shop (Tom / visible stall)

These are the standard, always-visible purchases in the Sweetheart Shores shop area:

  • Fischversation Hearts Box – low-cost Valentine box/cosmetic.

  • Giant Box of Chocolates – premium chocolate box item.

  • Rose Rod – limited Valentine rod (2,140 Chocolates).

  • Cupid Relic – relic that can give the Cupid/Sweet-type enchant (15,000 Chocolates).

Some write-ups only list these four as the “Sweetheart Shores shop” items, because they’re the core visible rewards most players see and the ones directly advertised as being bought with Chocolates.

Extra event shops on Sweetheart Shores

Two more purchasable relics are also part of the Valentides/Sweetheart Shores event economy, but they sit in special spots instead of the main stall:

  • Cupid Relic (alternate source) – can also be obtained from fishing in the small pond on top of the Sweetheart Shores mountain, in addition to buying it at the main shop.

  • Valentine’s Relic – bought for 35,000 Chocolates inside a secret cave behind the waterfall on Sweetheart Shores.

These are still “Sweetheart Shores event” purchases, but one is tied to the main shop area and the other to a hidden cave, which is why some guides separate them from the central stall list.

What is not fully confirmed

Some early guides also mention small consumables like a cheap “Chocolate” item, Heartful Candy, and Heartbreak Cake, but they do not consistently list them with exact prices or confirm them as permanent stock across all servers. Because of that, the only universally documented, guaranteed purchasable items in the Sweetheart Shores Valentine shop ecosystem are:

  • Fischversation Hearts Box

  • Giant Box of Chocolates

  • Rose Rod

  • Cupid Relic

  • Valentine’s Relic

If you want, tell me how many Chocolates you have, and I can suggest which of these to prioritize for your build (early, mid, or late game).

How to get Chocolates fastest in Sweetheart Shores

The fastest way to get Chocolates on Sweetheart Shores is to chain NPC quests while constantly selling any extra Valentine fish you catch to the Valentine’s Merchant.

Best overall method: NPC quests

Quests give the biggest Chocolate payouts in the shortest time.

  • Talk to every quest NPC on Sweetheart Shores (especially Sweetheart Sarah and Sweetheart Sam near the shop area).

  • Prioritize quests that:

    • Require catching a specific number of Valentine fish.

    • Have high Chocolate rewards on completion.

  • Many quests are repeatable, so as soon as you turn one in, pick it up again instead of switching to low-reward tasks.

  • Duo quests (like from Sweetheart Sarah) are usually faster and pay more if you have a friend or use the duo queue.

Second method: Selling Valentine fish

While questing, you’ll constantly catch Valentine event fish; turning them into Chocolates is basically “free” extra currency.

  • Fish anywhere on Sweetheart Shores and in Lovestorm pools to get Valentine-limited fish (the Valentides bestiary).

  • Go to the Valentine’s Merchant in the shop area (opposite Sweetheart Sarah) and sell all fish you don’t need for quests.

  • Higher rarity (Rare/Divine) fish give more Chocolates, so use your best rod and luck boosts if you have them.

Extra boost: Codes and small optimizations

Codes and simple habits can noticeably speed up your grind.

  • Redeem any active Valentine codes (for example, some guides mention “Valentides”) to get bonus Chocolates or boosts.

  • Always keep at least one quest active while you fish so every catch progresses something.

  • Stick to one efficient loop: pick up quests → fish in high-density spots → turn in → sell fish → repeat.

If you tell me your current rod and how many Chocolates you’re aiming for (Rose Rod, Cupid Relic, etc.), I can outline a step-by-step route tailored to you (solo or duo).
