The event will be a pistol-only mode which means that all weapons will be vaulted and only Power Rangers Blade Blaster will be available for players to use. In case you’re wondering, no, this will not be a different mode; rather, you will be required to load into a regular Zero Build or Battle Royale match, and you’ll be able to play the Lord Zedd’s Power Hour event yourself.
So we’d advise getting a Blade Blaster right away during your Fortnite matches and perfecting your technique with it before you lose on some crucial momentum when the Power Hour begins. This update will not affect the Ranked playlists – so if you’re a pro and want to keep grinding without any interruptions, you’ll still be able to play the standard BR experience for competitive.
