Fortnite 37 20 Update Patch Notes Megazord Mythic Kai Cenat Skin September 10 Changes

Guides

Fortnite’s September 10 update rolls out the Megazord Mythic, drops a Kai Cenat collaboration skin, and teases a flood of balance tweaks that could shift the meta in surprising ways.

The season, which dropped last month, has had several hotfixes where Epic made some hard calls, such as completely removing medallions from the loot pool, bringing back scoped weapons, all because of player feedback and to make the recently concluded FNCS Globals 2025 a balanced competition for all.

Now that FNCS is done and dusted, Epic has deployed a 37.20 content patch that shifts the loot pool once again and paves the way for upcoming collabs such as Kai Cenat and Peacemaker, and sets the stage for the incoming Megazord Mythic later this season. Read the full patch notes for today’s update right here.

Peacemaker, What a Joke!

John Cena’s Peacemaker is finally added to the game files with this update and is all set to release in the Item Shop. As DC Studios boss and director of the Peacemaker series, James Gunn teased last month at Comic Con, Peacemaker’s skin will be released in Fortnite with a few surprises.

Players will get an Eagly back bling, with the skin giving options to turn the helmet visibility on or off. Furthermore, two emotes will be released in the shop, one called Peaceful Hips featuring dance steps and song from the Season 2 intro, and Eat Peace, where the superhero stamps his peace sign on the screen. More details will be revealed in the coming days around the skin’s release date and price.

New Skins

The latest Fortnite update has added four new skins to the game files, out of which two are based on hip-hop/street art themes and the other two are seemingly related to the upcoming Fortnitemares 2025 event.

Alongside the skins, four new emotes, weapon wraps, and pickaxes were also decrypted, and players can have a look at them right here.

Free De-Rezz De-Stroyer Pickaxe and Megazord Quests

Epic is finally granting players a free De-Rezz De-Stroyer Pickaxe in Fortnite to whoever wins 2 Victory Royales in Reload game mode.

Alternatively, you can also gain 10 account levels across any Fortnite experience to unlock the pickaxe. However, you won’t be able to claim this pickaxe if you purchase Battle Pass tiers as account levels, and BP tiers are entirely different.

Furthermore, Epic has also added a Megazord Community Quest where players will need to fight off the swarm of bugs on the island and assist Power Rangers to unlock all five parts of the giant mech. Once the goal is met, whoever participated will get a free Loading Screen, and the Megazord will be unleashed as a mythic item on the island on September 16.

Weapon Changes

The latest update has brought major weapon updates across Battle Royale, Reload, and Blitz. Starting with BR, the new Twitter weapon is added to the game files. It is a dual-mode fire pistol that fires quick, snappy shots in hip-fire and powerful, explosive rounds when ADSing. Alongside this, the Rail Gun is finally back in BR, so go out there and grab that powerful rifle to slice through bugs.

Furthermore, Blitz will get five Marvel Mythic items in its latest update starting today, which will include Iron Man’s Flight and Combat Kits, Captain America’s Shield, Spider-Man’s Web Shooters, and Shuri’s Black Panther Claws. Blitz will also host an Awesome Exotics week soon, which will only grant players Exotic weapons as the core loot pool. A new Slap Co POI has arrived in the game mode as well.

Finally, Reload gets a new Legendary Royale event in Unranked lobbies, where there is a small chance that any match will have all rare chests. As the week progresses, the chance of a Legendary Royale may increase.

How do Megazord community quests work

Megazord community quests in Fortnite’s v37.20 update require global player collaboration to summon Power Rangers and assemble the Megazord. Players contribute to shared progress bars by completing specific tasks repeatedly until each goal is met.

Quest Objectives

Five sequential challenges unlock Megazord parts and summon Rangers:

  • Hit 500 players or bugs with Precision Air Strikes for Blue Ranger.

  • Restore 30,000 health or gain shields for Yellow Ranger.

  • Collect 300 Boons for Black Ranger.

  • Deal 40,000 damage to opponents in a Hammerhead Choppa for Pink Ranger.

  • Eliminate 1,000 Queens for Red Ranger.

Rewards and Outcome

As goals complete, Rangers appear on the island to fight bug swarms; all five summon the Megazord Mythic on September 16, 2025. All players earn a free Megazord Loading Screen.

Where to find Precision Air Strikes for Blue Ranger quest

Precision Air Strikes for the Blue Ranger quest in Fortnite’s Megazord community challenges are rare items obtained by reaching OXR Rank A or higher. They spawn inside OXR Bunkers (check your map for Rank A-marked bunkers near Ranger’s Ruin), OXR Drop Pods, OXR Chests, or late-game Rift Pods falling from the sky.

Best Locations

Drop at bug-heavy POIs like Ranger’s Ruin, The Hive, or Swarmy Stash to maximize progress per strike, as these areas swarm with targets. Bunkers appear randomly but often near Ranger’s Ruin-enter and loot straight ahead for the item.

Usage Tips

Equip the item, aim at clusters of bugs or players, and fire to contribute to the global 500-hit goal; each strike covers a large area for efficiency. Sky-falling pods are free and random, so play multiple matches to hunt them.
