The Admin War update drops all-new seeds into Grow a Garden, sparking fierce battles over rare crops and garden dominance.

While the main quest remains the same, there’s a new Friendship shop awaiting to be explored on the cloud platform in the center of the play area. So, if you are ready, check out the collection of new seeds in the Admin War update in Grow a Garden.

All New Seeds in Grow a Garden Admin War Update

The admin war update brings fresh seeds to Grow a Garden, each with unique growth patterns and crop yields. Players gain access to rare varieties like Shadow Bloom, which thrives in low light and yields purple crystals, and Thunder Root, a fast-maturing tuber that boosts defense stats during raids. Frost Whisper seeds produce icy fruits for cooling overheated plots, while Lava Petal offers fiery pods that enhance attack power. These additions tie into new guides for optimal planting amid faction battles, letting gardeners dominate the conflict with superior harvests.

The Admin War update introduces six new seeds that you can either get from the Skyroot chest, buy directly from the Friendship shop, or craft in the game.

Do note that you must obviously grow the magic beanstalk located at the center first to access these shops and crafting stations. Once you submit the required plants to grow the beanstalk and climb it to reach the top, you must feed the giant Goliath NPC a few food items to grow your friendship level.

Now that you know where to grab the newest seeds in the Admin War update, you might wonder whether it’s worth putting in all that effort. Well, fortunately, we have tried and tested all the new seeds in the update. Based on our testing, here are the seeds you should get to make profits:

  • Cyclamen: With the right mutations in Grow a Garden, the harvests from this plant can earn you a huge amount of money within a few minutes.
  • Calla Lily: The plant grows a single flower at a time; however, it has a beautiful, aesthetic blue color and sells for tens and thousands of Sheckles.
  • Flare Melon: We recommend buying this seed from the shop, since there’s no random chance involved in obtaining this one, and it grows 2-3 fruits at a time. Thereby, you will have a decent deal of profit in a short duration.

How to unlock the Friendship Shop beanstalk requirements

To unlock the Friendship Shop in Grow a Garden’s Admin War (Beanstalk) update, first fully grow Jack’s Beanstalk by donating 900 points worth of requested plants to the Jack NPC, then climb to the top to meet the Giant (Goliath) NPC.

Beanstalk Requirements

Submit plants as demanded by Jack until the total reaches 900 points; common plants contribute less, while rarer ones (e.g., Divine or Mythical) speed progress.
This grants access to the beanstalk summit where Goliath awaits.

Unlocking the Shop

Obtain the Cooking Kit via Garden Guide achievements (Core Plants Common: shovel 100 plants, harvest 200 carrots, gift 1 carrot, sell 500 strawberries, gift 5 strawberries).
Cook food (rarer recipes yield more points: Common=2, Divine=8+), hold it from your backpack’s Food Items, approach Goliath, and press E to feed him-aim for 20 points for Level 1 to access the shop.

Friendship Levels

Progress requires cumulative points: Level 1 (20 pts), Level 2 (30 more), up to Level 6 (80 pts total), unlocking seeds like Glowpod/Flare Melon at Level 4.

Best foods to feed the Giant for fastest friendship gains

The highest-rarity cooked foods provide the most Friendship Points per feeding to the Giant (Goliath) in Grow a Garden, maximizing gains toward unlocking shop levels.

Points by Rarity

Higher rarity yields more points; size and mutations add bonuses. Feed while holding the item and pressing E near Goliath.

Rarity Points per Feed Example Foods
Common Basic soups, simple recipes
Rare Rare Soup
Prismatic Prismatic Sushi
Transcendent Corn Dog, Sugar Apple mixes, Bone Blossom-heavy dishes

Top Foods for Speed

Prioritize Transcendent/Prismatic recipes like Corn Dog or those using Bone Blossoms/Elder Strawberries for 8-9 points each, cooking quickly (e.g., 5-7 minutes) to sustain feeds-far faster than lower rarities. Reach max Level 6-7 (80+ points total) in minutes by mass-producing these via Cooking Kit.
