Jin’s Blessing isn’t just another collectible in Dig-it’s the key to boosting your luck and striking gold faster than your rivals. Here’s how to earn it and make every dig count.
Monk’s Workshop Location in Dig
Monk’s Workshop sits in the eastern hills of Dig’s main island, past the central mining pits and up a rocky path marked by glowing blue lanterns. Players reach it by heading northeast from spawn, crossing the wooden bridge over the lava stream, then climbing the vine-covered cliffs. Inside, Jin awaits amid scattered tools and ancient scrolls, ready to grant his luck blessing after a quick riddle challenge.
Getting Jin’s Blessing in Dig is pretty simple. But before boosting luck, you must find the Monk’s Workshop, where you find Jin, the God of Gold. Follow the steps below to reach the Jin’s Blessing region in the game:
- Head inside the Cinder Cavern and take the elevator inside to reach level 1 by spending $1000.
- Here you can take any Dig vehicle and drive straight following the leaves.
- From the area where you locate the first blueshroom on the ground, take a left and drive straight.
- The next time you cross the leaves, take a left again and drive straight until you find the small lanterns.
- Take a sharp right here, and you’ll notice the entrance to the Monk’s workshop at these coordinates: 4443, -360, -1536.

How to Get Jin’s Blessing in Dig
Complete these daily quests in Dig to earn Jin’s favor: mine 500 ore, sell 10,000 worth of gems, and craft five tools. Head to the temple after finishing and interact with Jin’s statue during the full moon phase for the best odds. Repeat weekly to stack the luck boost permanently, doubling your rare drop rates across all biomes.
Now that you know where to find the Monk’s Workshop, you must know how to trade gold items for powerful luck boosts. To trade, all you need are gold nuggets, gold carts, or golden modified items. You can dig up these gold items at specific spots on the map or get golden mutation items using the Gold Digger Shovel in Dig.

Once you have at least one gold or golden item, interact with the huge statue of Jin, the God of Gold, by pressing the E key. Make sure to hold out gold items or golden modified items and offer them to the God to get a 2 luck boost for 1 hour.
Remember, if you currently have a Jin’s Blessing luck boost active already, offering the God another gold/golden item will not stack the luck boosts. Rather, the timer for your existing boost will get reset no matter what time is left in that. You can check the blessing timer at the bottom left of your screen.
Should You Get Jin’s Blessing in Dig?
Jin’s Blessing is worth getting if you’re aiming to boost your luck and find rare rewards faster in Dig. The blessing provides a noticeable increase in special item drops, making your digging sessions more rewarding compared to playing without it. While it may take some effort or currency to obtain, many players find that the payoff in rare finds and overall progress easily justifies the investment.
In my opinion, you should always save the gold nuggets, gold carts, or golden modified items you dig up. It’s better to use them for boosting your luck rather than selling them right away. With the luck boost active, you’ll have a higher chance of digging up rare and valuable items that can easily make up for the effort.
Since more luck means better loot, it’s worth using every gold item for this boost. Plus, if you use the best Shovels in Dig while a good weather event like a Meteor Shower or a Blue Moon happens, this luck can be more beneficial.
However, if you dig up a gold item with the Shiny, Gargantuan, or Titanic attribute, it’s a different story. Plus, I suggest you trade only the items with the Golden modifiers (mutations) if it is below the Scarce rarity. Any rarity above that will sell for a good amount, with the Golden modifiers 2.5x selling multiplier.
These items are extremely valuable on their own, so selling them will likely earn you far more than what you’d get from trading them for a small luck boost. So, always check if you are sacrificing a valuable item before trading it for only a 2 luck boost.
