From top-tier shovels to useful charms, the stock changes fast and disappears even faster. So, in this Dig Traveling Merchant guide, learn everything about how this mechanic works.

How Does the Traveling Merchant Work in Dig?

The Traveling Merchant in Dig appears at random intervals within the game, offering players a rotating selection of rare and valuable items. His stock changes each time he visits, giving players a chance to purchase exclusive tools, skins, and collectibles that aren’t available in regular shops. Players must act quickly, as the merchant only stays for a limited time before disappearing until his next visit.

The Traveling Merchant is a mobile NPC in Dig Roblox who appears periodically at set locations around the map. Whenever the merchant relocates, a bell chimes and an announcement reveals its new spot. The merchant will stay in that location for 10 minutes, then vanish and reappear in another Dig location.

To locate the merchant, look for the red text saying, “Traveling Merchant” on your screen. You can buy exclusive charms and shovels from the merchant using in-game money.
