Dig Enchantment Tier List
The Dig Enchantment Tier List ranks every enchantment in Roblox Dig based on power, rarity, and usefulness across different gameplay stages. It helps players identify which enchantments provide the best boosts for mining speed, value multipliers, and special abilities. From top-tier enchantments that significantly improve progress to lower ones that offer minor benefits, this guide gives a clear overview for optimizing your setup and maximizing rewards.
At release, Roblox Dig includes 14 enchantments that you can apply to your shovel. There are no rarities for the enchantments, and each has an equal chance (7.14%) when you roll for it using the Enchantment Tomes. In our tier list, we’ve ranked the enchantments based on how useful they are in enhancing your Dig gameplay. In our testing, some enchantments clearly stand out and help more with progression as compared to others.
Dig sorts shovels and charm stats into tiers from SS to F. We have decided to use a similar ranking system for enchantments, starting from SS Tier for the best and going down to D for now, since we only have 14 enchantments in total. With that said, check out our Dig enchantments tier list here:

Dig SS-Tier Enchantments
Starting with the SS tier, it only has a single enchantment, named Wumbo, for now. At first glance, you may not think of this as a really useful upgrade since it only increases the size of the items you dig up. However, attributes like Gargantuan (4.5x), Titanic (3.5x), Gigantic (2x), and all others are highly valued. Paired with Dig modifiers, they can turn money-making into a walk in the park.

Dig S-Tier Enchantments
Next up, we have Sundering, Prodigy, and Strong in the S Tier. While Sundering increases the boss damage output by 20%, Prodigy gives you a 1.5x more XP gain while digging. And if you want to dig items faster, strong enchantment will boost your shovel’s strength by 10%.
Strong is a highly useful enchantment as it reduces the number of hits needed to dig an item. The Sundering enchantment is great for dealing extra damage to bosses. And since the final area in Dig locations unlocks at level 50, using Prodigy can help you level up faster.

Dig A-Tier Enchantments
In the A Tier, we have enchantments that increase the basic stats of your shovel. The enchantments include Bulky, Swift, and Lucky, each improving the corresponding stat. Bulky will boost the control bar size by 15%, while Swift reduces the cooldown on missed slashes by 15%.
Finally, Lucky improves your shovel’s luck by 10%. Since these stats can be improved using Charms in Dig as well, they sit in the A-tier. You can consider keeping them if you get them on your first try. However, I recommend going for better enchantments, like Wumbo or Prodigy, depending on your current gameplay requirements.

Dig B-Tier Enchantments
Moving to the B Tier, we have included three Dig enchantments that feel very situational. They are not too strong, but not completely useless either. These are Altered, Scrapper, and Sparkled, listed in decreasing order of effectiveness.

Altered gives a 15% chance to get modified items, which can be useful during specific modifier grinds. Scrapper offers a 45% chance not to consume a Magnet while digging, making it possible to save rare Magnets like the Prismatic Magnet. Trust me on this, the chances are too low despite the number saying high.
Sparkled increases your chances of finding shiny (3x multiplier value) items, but only by 3%. Since its chance is still low, I wouldn’t recommend using it on your best shovel in Dig.

Dig C-Tier Enchantments
The C Tier includes two Dig enchantments – Storming and Chrono. These are the least useful ones in the entire game. However, if you require certain items to complete a quest, then these enchantments can come in handy.
Chrono increases the age of items by 10%. While older items give you a little extra cash, they’re not needed in any quests. On the other hand, Storming increases the luck of your shovel by 40% during stormy weather, which again occurs rarely. You’d need to spend a lot of cash on Dig horns to spawn the stormy weather event, so that your enchantment works well.

Dig D-Tier Enchantments
Finally, in the D Tier, we have Noir and Abundant. These are two of the least useful enchantments in the game. Abundant slightly increases your chances of getting extra loot. While that might seem helpful for farming enchantment tomes, regular shovels can already dig them up, and the Magnet Shovel does an even better job. So, there’s not much reason to use Abundant over that.
Noir helps you dig up Dark modified items, which sell for a mere 1.1x selling value. Overall, both enchantments can be skipped unless you’re just testing things out.

Best shovel enchant combos for money farming in DIG
For pure money farming in DIG, the best shovel enchant setups stack extra modifiers and size changes (Wumbo / Altered / Sparkled) on shovels that already modify items (Frigid, Shortcake, Prismatic, etc.). These combos turn normal drops into high-value items very consistently.
Core money-farm principles

Prioritize enchants that change item properties (mutations, shinies, size) because those multiply sell value.

Use shovels whose passive already adds a modifier, then add enchants that further modify or resize items for multiplicative gains.

Once stats feel comfortable (enough Strength/Haste/Control to dig smoothly), every extra enchant slot should lean into value multipliers, not comfort.
Best high-end money combos
These assume you’re mid/late game with access to strong shovels.

Frigid / Shortcake already apply powerful mutations to items; Wumbo adds a chance to change item size (Gargantuan/Titanic etc.), which stacks for crazy sale values.

Best enchant combos for prismatic shovel money farming
For pure money farming on the Prismatic Shovel, the best approach is to let the shovel’s Iridescent/Chromatic mutations handle value, and use enchants either to fix its weakest stat or to slightly boost profit consistency.
How Prismatic makes money

Prismatic has a passive chance to make items Iridescent, which sell for about 3.5x value, so most of your money comes from that modifier, not from enchants.

With the Prismatic Domino Crown charm, you gain extra stats and a huge bonus chance for Chromatic mutation, turning Prismatic into a late-game money machine on its own.

These are straightforward and work well if you just want consistent money and smooth digging.
