Roblox diggers chase hidden totems that supercharge their underground hauls-what powers await in the depths?

List of Totems in Dig

Totems in Dig provide unique bonuses that improve various aspects of gameplay. Each totem offers a distinct effect, such as increasing mining speed, boosting coin collection, or improving material drops. Players can collect these totems through different in-game activities and events, strategically combining their effects to progress faster. Some totems are rarer and give higher rewards, encouraging players to experiment with different setups to maximize their gains.

In Dig Roblox, some totems are free rewards that you can get from quests, while others will cost you in-game money or Robux. Each totem has a unique effect that can speed up your XP grind or boost your earnings. So, it is important to know what each totem does in the game. 1. Arcane Totem

  • Effect: Increases the luck stat by 15 points
  • Duration: 30 minutes

The Arcane Totem is a luck-boosting totem in Dig that you can grab for free on completing every 9th pizza delivery in the Pizza Penguin quest. Since the deliveries are repeatable, you can don your Uber Eats hat and keep farming totems. You can also use the Emergency Flare to deliver the pizza faster and create speedrun records in the game.

Once you use the Arcane Totem, it givesa 15 Luck boost for everyone inside the totem’s circular area. This way, you can find rarer and more valuable items in the game. Apart from completing the long and tiring pizza delivery quests, you can buy Arcane Totem vouchers from the Game Shop. You can get one voucher for 59 Robux and three for 159 Robux, which can be claimed for totems.

2. Spore Totem

  • Effect: Increases the luck stat by 6 points
  • Duration: 1 minute 40 seconds

Next up is the Spore Totem, and it’s the only one you can’t buy or get from a quest in Dig. To get it, you will need to purchase the Spore Spade shovel from Rooftop Woodlands and start digging.

This shovel has a 10% chance of spawning a Spore Totem when you’re digging. With Dig charms that increase your strength and haste, you can keep spawning this totem frequently. The totem’s top looks very similar to a mushroom head and increases the luck stat of each player inside the ring by 6 points. However, the totem lasts for just 1 minute and 40 seconds after activation.

3. Essence Totem

  • Effect: Increases the XP gain by 50%
  • Duration: 30 minutes

In Dig, players can get the Essence Totem for free by completing every 7th quest from Tom’s Bakery in the Cinder Approach area. It’s not really a grind, as the quest only requires digging for items, and you also get stat-boosting cupcakes in return.

If you’re low on patience, you can also grab Essence Totem vouchers from the in-game shop. There, you can get one totem for 49 Robux or a bundle of three for 129 Robux.

Once you place the Essence Totem on the ground, you trigger a 50% XP boost for everyone in the circular area. The effect lasts 30 minutes, which is plenty of time to rack up XP and level up if you’re using a good shovel. Check out our Dig shovel progression guide if you’re unsure of which shovel to use.

4. Glistening Totem

  • Effect: Increases the chance of getting Shiny items by 200%
  • Duration: 15 minutes

The Glistening Totem costs $12,000 in-game money and is available to buy at the small hut (called Finka’s Shack) across from the merchant shop in Cinder Shores. There’s no quest or alternative way to get this totem, so make sure you know how to make money fast in Dig.

After you get the Glistening Totem in Dig, placing it gives you (and everyone around you, as always) a 200% boost to finding shiny items. However, players must dig up 10 items within the totem’s radius to activate it. I suggest you activate it quickly, as the timer starts the moment you place down the totem.

You can further increase your chances of digging shiny items by placing down the totem during the Sparkling Rainbow weather event or using the Sparkled Dig enchantment on your shovel.

5. Monarch Totem

  • Effect: Increases the Boss damage by 25%
  • Duration: 30 minutes

The Monarch Totem is one of the more accessible totems in Dig. You can secure the Monarch totem for free from Cole Blood at the Combat Guild after completing every 5th quest. You can skip the grind by buying it from the Game Shop. In the shop, one Monarch Totem costs 69 Robux, while a 3-totem bundle goes for 169 Robux.

The Monarch Totem gives you a 25% boss damage boost in Dig. So, as should be obvious, it’s only worth activating when a boss spawns on the map. It won’t change your base digging stats and only applies to the boss damage stat.

The effect of the Monarch totem lasts for 30 minutes, so with a few friends backing you up, you can wipe out Dig bosses in no time.

6. Celestial Totem

  • Effect: 50% chance to apply Celestial modifier
  • Duration: 15 minutes

Celestial Totem can be found in meteors that crash and cause a thunderous blast during the Meteor Shower event in Dig. Each time a meteor crashes, there’s a 1/3 chance it contains either a Celestial Totem, a Starfire Shovel, or the Blood Crown charm.

The totem costs $20,000, and you purchase as many as you like from the crash site. Keep in mind, the meteor disappears when the event ends after 10 minutes.

So, if you are quick and rich enough to snatch the Celestial Totem, here’s how it works. This totem gives you a 50% chance to dig up items with the Celestial modification. However, the effect only triggers after you’ve dug 15 items in its radius. Despite that, it is worth the money, as the Celestial mutation has a 4x sell value multiplier.

7. Chronos Totem

  • Effect: Items dug are 25% older
  • Duration: 20 minutes

The only way to obtain the Chronos Totem in Dig is by spending $12,000. You will find it sitting next to the Glistening Totem inside Finka’s Shack, found across from the merchant shop in Cinder Shores.

Once you place the Chronos Totem on the ground, everyone within its radius will be able to dig up items that are 25% older. However, similar to the Glistening Totem, the effect only triggers after 10 items have been dug in that area.

8. Augmented Totem

  • Effect: 50% chance to add a modifier to the items dug
  • Duration: 20 minutes

The Augmented Totem is found on the second island at Tiki’s Shop in Alona Jungle. To reach the second island, you must complete 50% of your Cinder Island journal and buy a $3,000 Ferry ticket.

After you reach Tiki’s Shop, spend $15,000 to get the totem. It can’t be obtained through quests or any other method.

Once placed, Augmented Totem gives a 50% increased chance to get modified items, but only after 15 items have been dug in the radius. The totem’s duration is slightly lower at 20 minutes, but it gives you plenty of time to hunt for rare and valuable items.

Which Totems are best for XP farming

Essence Totem stands out as the top choice for XP farming in Roblox’s Dig game, directly boosting XP gain by 50% for 30 minutes to all players in its radius. It activates without a digging trigger and comes free via Tom’s Bakery quests (every 7th quest in Cinder Approach).
