What is Dust of Enlightenment in Genshin Impact?

Dust of Enlightenment is a special consumable that lets you reshuffle the minor affix upgrades on a fully leveled 5-star artifact, effectively rerolling its sub-stats to better fit a character’s build. By using it, you can move upgrade rolls away from less desirable stats like flat Defense and toward preferred options such as Crit Rate, Crit Damage, or Energy Recharge on existing artifacts instead of farming new ones.​

Dust of Enlightenment is a new item in Genshin Impact that can be used to reallocate the enhancements of minor affixes on a fully leveled 5-star artifact. Also, after the enhancement is made, you get to decide which one to keep between the old artifact stats and the rerolled stats.
