Expanding your garden in Grow a Garden requires collecting enough coins and progress to purchase additional land from the upgrade menu. As you earn rewards from harvesting crops and completing tasks, visit the plot expansion option and choose a new section to add. Each new area costs more but provides extra space for planting and decorations, allowing you to grow more crops and increase your income faster. Keep upgrading tools and crops to make the most of the expanded area.
The brand-new ‘Expand Garden‘ feature is suitable for all end-game players who have saved up a huge stack of cash and have already filled up their garden with the rarest plants.
As you boot up Grow a Garden after the Cosmetic update, you will notice the Expand Garden sign board on the fence of your plot. Simply follow the steps below to increase your garden’s size in the game:
- First, go to the center on the fence where the board is present.
- Now, a button pops up revealing that you can expand that side of the plot for a certain sum ofmoney. For example, expanding the plot on the left and right costs 100 million Sheckles.
- Press and hold the E key on your keyboard to complete buying the expansion perk.

As you can see, expanding the garden on either the left or right side is available the moment you get into the game after the update. However, when you’re done with both sides, you’ll notice a timer on the ‘Expand Garden’ sign board at the back side.
You can always skip the timer on the back side by spending Robux. The first time it would cost you 199 Robux, while the second time will require you to shell out 399 Robux. However, do note that this will only skip the timer, and you still need to spend the required Sheckles, as stated in the table above, to expand your plot in Grow a Garden.

- You have saved up enough money to afford the purchase using Sheckles.
- You want some room to place the brand new cosmetics added in the Cosmetic shop of Grow a Garden.
Adding to these conditions, we further recommend you to expand your garden up to the first three expansions, two on either sides and once on the back. Doing this will be worth the money you spent as you get more width on either sides, and an extra plot on the back.
Purchasing the final expansion on the back side costs a ton of money, but in return, it adds only half a plot to your garden. This expansion costing 2,000,000,000 Sheckles (1 billion Sheckles) is just absolutely nuts and not worth it as you can spend that much money buying rare seeds.
