The update also introduces themed zones tied to the ongoing Star Wars collaboration, blending sci-fi elements with Fortnite’s signature style. As we already know, Fortnite seasonal updates do not trickle much with the full map. Similarly, in the Star Wars update, we will see four major locations on the map replaced with new areas. These new locations on the Fortnite Galactic Battle map are based on iconic Star Wars bases and headquarters. Here are all the new Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 map changes:

First Order Base: Perched atop a mountain, the First Order’s base features a hangar for TIE fighter repairs. It has five entrances, but the utility shaft is the most accessible for a stealthy approach.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 New Weapons and Lightsabers

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 introduces a fresh selection of weapons and the return of Lightsabers through the Star Wars collaboration. Players can find new rifles, explosive gadgets, and reworked melee options scattered across the map. Lightsabers now vary in abilities depending on the color and character affiliation, adding more depth to close combat. These additions encourage dynamic strategies and new ways to approach fights, offering both nostalgic and modern twists to the armory.

Lightsabers, symbols of both Jedi and Sith, are excellent for deflecting blaster bolts. So, with Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 revolving around Star Wars, the Lightsaber is a must. Wielding one grants increased speed, double jump, and immunity to fall damage. They’re earned through training or by looting from others.

Train with hologram Rey to acquire a Blue Lightsaber and learn Force Push, propelling everything ahead of you. Alternatively, train with hologram Emperor Palpatine to obtain a Red Lightsaber and master Force Lightning for electrifying attacks.

If you can infiltrate the First Order Base and defeat her in battle, you’ll be rewarded with the Mythic Captain Phasma’s F-11D Blaster and the Phasma Blaster Medal. This medal reduces blaster overheating and shortens cooldown times. However, possessing the medal makes you visible on opponents’ mini-maps, with the detection radius increasing based on the number of medals you hold.

And to complement the sabers, there are blasters and guns. These weapons can overheat, so avoid spamming them. Along with these weapons, you will also get Thermal Imploder. The Thermal Imploder isn’t a blaster but causes significant damage. Throw it and retreat before its compression vacuum detonates, destroying nearby structures.
