Urubamba Master Trainer can be found near the entrance of Atcopan, the region in Natlan, and north-east of the Collective of Plenty tribe. The camp will have a Teleport waypoint nearby, so follow it to find the location of Urubamba’s camp.
One thing to note here is that you don’t need to speak with Urubamba first to complete his puzzle. However, you must return to him after finding all the saurians to get your rewards in the Genshin Impact 5.5 update.
Urubamba Saurian Location 1
This location can be found near the eastern edge of the Urubamba region, close to a cliff overlooking the forested valley. Players will notice a glowing stone formation surrounded by elemental totems that must be activated in sequence to reveal the hidden Saurian. Completing the puzzle grants access to a treasure chest containing upgrade materials and local specialties unique to this area.
The first saurian can be found slightly south of Urubamba’s location. The little saurian can be found riding an automaton enemy, and it will start attacking you once you get near it. However, normal attacks won’t work against it.
Indwell into an Tatankasaur and charge at the automaton. Use the Elemental Skill button to smash the automaton and free the little saurians.
Urubamba Saurian Location 2
This location lies south of the Huitztli Basin teleporter, hidden behind a cluster of tall stone pillars near a small waterfall. Players will notice several elemental totems surrounding a sealed chest. Activating them in the correct sequence reveals the Urubamba Saurian resting on the ledge above. Defeating it grants access to a chest containing Primogems, character experience materials, and local specialty items.
The next saurian can be found just east of the Urubamba’s camp. You will find a little Tatankasaur chasing a Tepetlisaur.
Get close to the Tepetlisaur and select the ‘Catch’ option to stop the chase. The little saurian will now head back to the camp.
Urubamba Saurian Location 3
Urubamba Saurian Location 3 is found near the hidden cliffs east of the Huadao Canopy. Players will notice an unusual stone formation surrounded by glowing fungi, marking the entrance to a small cavern. Inside, several elemental totems must be activated in sequence to reveal the Saurian’s resting spot. Indwell into an Tatankasaur and charge at the Matador Monetoo. Keep hitting it until it becomes a graffiti on a nearby rock. Now, hit the graffiti again with the Tatankasaur to free the saurian.

Urubamba Saurian Location 4
Urubamba Saurian Location 4 lies near the riverbank west of the Jadeplume Terrace waypoint. Players will find a small clearing surrounded by tall reeds and rock formations, making it easy to spot the saurian from a distance. Defeating it triggers a short elemental puzzle that rewards a precious chest containing upgrade materials and adventure experience. If you head further west from the location of the fourth saurian, you will find a cave on the right in this part of the Natlan map in Genshin Impact 5.5. The entrance of this cave will have multiple hilichurls, who will be blocking the Tatankasaur whelp.
Defeat all the hilichurls at the cave entrance to free up the saurians. Now, they will head back to the camp.

Urubamba Saurian Location 6
Urubamba Saurian Location 6 is found near the lower cliffs south of the Thalatta Suburbs, close to a small ruin guarded by aggressive elemental creatures. Players should clear the area before approaching the saurian’s spawn point near a patch of glowing flora. Completing the interaction puzzle here, which involves activating nearby elemental monuments in sequence, grants an exquisite chest containing upgrade materials and a minor achievement.
Then, you need to enter the cave and continue until you find more hilichurls. These hilichurls have one of the Tatankasaur whelp as a prisoner.
Defeat all the hilichurls inside the cave to free the caged saurian. The saurian will then go back to Urubamba, and you can get your rewards by returning to the NPC.
Urubamba Saurian Location Puzzle Rewards
