How to Get the Submarine in Fisch
To get the submarine in Fisch, players must first reach the Mariana’s Veil area and complete the required questline given by the NPCs at the docking station. After finishing the main objectives, they can purchase the submarine from the shop near the harbor or through the marina terminal using in-game currency. Once obtained, the submarine can be deployed to explore deep-sea zones, offering access to rare materials and hidden treasures found below the surface.
The new submarine in Fisch is more than just a cool-looking transport. You will need the submarine to get to the new Mariana’s Veil area in Fisch. Furthermore, getting it will require you to go through a few steps that aren’t as tedious but necessary. Keep reading to learn how to do so:
1. Talk to Dr. Glimmerfin
To get the submarine in Fisch, you must first head out and talk to Dr. Glimmerfin in the game. This quirky will be found at the Mariana’s Veil opening, which is located at the coordinates X= -1439, Y= 130, Z= 511 near Roslit Bay. Once there, head over and simply speak to the scientist NPC.
He will begin by narrating his tale of his damaged submarine and that you must help fix it. To do so, players must collect five different parts, which we have listed below. The good doctor will then hand you a drill to collect the parts below:
- Side Fins
- Back Fins
- Windows
- Submarine Top
- Metal Top
2. Mine Obsidian Rock for Parts
Once you have the list of parts, head back just behind the submarine. You will see a few obsidian rocks with their own HP. Equip the drill the doctor provided and keep clicking the left mouse button to drill and look for parts.
Do note that you must keep drilling as, a lot of times, you simply won’t find anything. Even the new Fisch codes won’t help here since it’s all based on luck. Thankfully, the obsidian rocks at Roslit Bay keep regenerating, so you have plenty of time to collect these parts. Keep collecting by drilling away the rocks to get all the parts Dr. Glimmerfin wants.
3. Place the Submarine Parts
Once you have the parts, walk back to the submarine and equip the parts you have collected from the hotbar. Once done, simply place the submarine part by clicking and holding the Ebutton.
Keep doing this for all the parts until the submarine is fully completed. You’re now almost ready to get the submarine in Fisch.
4. Spawn the Submarine from Dr. Glimmerfin
Once your submarine has been built, talk to Dr. Glimmerfin again, and he will rejoice. Now click the ‘Spawn Submarine‘ option, and he will get it for you. You can now simply swim to this new Fisch boat and climb it. Once there, press E to enter it.

Fisch Submarine Heat Upgrade
The Submarine Heat Upgrade increases your vehicle’s resistance to extreme underwater temperatures in Mariana’s Veil, allowing players to explore deeper regions without taking damage from thermal vents. To install it, gather the required materials from heat-resistant fish and rare minerals found near volcanic zones. After collecting the components, visit the upgrade terminal at the Submarine Dock to apply the enhancement. This upgrade not only improves survivability but also boosts exploration efficiency in high-temperature areas.
While you do have your submarine, you will need to upgrade it even further once you reach the hot Volcanic Vents area. This is because you must now turn your vehicle into the orange submarine by getting the Heat Upgrade. To get it, you will need to collect the following:
- Lava Crystal
- Inferno Hide (check out our Volcanic Vents Bestiary guide to know how to get it)
- Blisterback Blenny
- Infernal Iguanafish
You must go around and collect these parts around the area to get the orange submarine. You can farm Lava Crystals by using the drill on the lava rocks. The rest of the items can be fished, and you can even complete the Volcanic Vents bestiary here.
Once you’ve collected all the parts, place all of them on the podium. You’ll get the orange submarine upgrade on your vehicle and a nice Dr. Glimmerfin’s suit level one added to your inventory.
Fisch Submarine Ice Upgrade
The Ice Upgrade for the Fisch Submarine enhances its durability and speed while exploring the frozen sections of Mariana’s Veil. Players can obtain the upgrade by gathering Ice Cores from the cold biomes and combining them with Alloy Parts at the Upgrade Station. This modification reduces damage from freezing currents and increases maneuverability in slippery environments, making it easier to explore deeper regions filled with icy challenges.
Once you traverse and enter the Challenger’s Deep bestiary, you will be forced to upgrade your submarine once more. However, this time, it will protect against the nail-biting cold. As before, you will need to collect a few items, which are:
- Ice Crystal
- Cryoskin
- Polar Prowler
- Glimmerfin Suit Level 1
You will already have the level 1 suit because of the orange submarine upgrade above. However, you must fish in the nearby waters to collect the remaining items. This is also a good time to complete the Challenger’s Deep bestiary. Once that’s done, you will get an ice upgrade on your submarine in Fisch and an upgraded Glimmerfin level two suit added to your inventory.
Where to find each submarine part in Roslit Bay
In Roblox Fisch’s Mariana’s Veil update, all five submarine parts-Side Fins, Back Fins, Windows, Submarine Top, and Metal Panels (or Metal Top)-drop exclusively from mining Obsidian Rocks in Roslit Bay. No specific locations distinguish parts by type; they share a random 5% drop chance from each rock.
Mining Location
Head to the Submarine Depot in Roslit Bay at coordinates XYZ: -1305, 130, 310 (near the lighthouse). Cross to the other side of the lighthouse to find clusters of black Obsidian Rocks with purple cracks and health bars.
Collection Process
Talk to Dr. Glimmerfin at the depot first to get the Drill tool. Equip it and left-click or hold to break the rocks (they respawn over time). Mine repeatedly until you collect one of each part-this may take breaking 20-100 rocks due to RNG.
Assembly Steps
Return parts to the translucent submarine frame next to Dr. Glimmerfin. Hold a part in hand and press E (interact) to attach it to the correct spot. Speak to him again after all five are placed to spawn your submarine.
Best spots in Roslit Bay to farm submarine part nodes
In Roblox Fisch’s Mariana’s Veil update, the best spots to farm Obsidian Rocks (nodes that drop submarine parts) cluster on the opposite side of the lighthouse from the Submarine Depot in Roslit Bay. Head to coordinates XYZ: -1305, 130, 310, then cross behind the lighthouse to a rocky outcrop with dense black rocks featuring purple cracks and health bars-these respawn frequently for efficient grinding.
Farming Tips
Private servers speed up farming by eliminating player competition for rocks. Each rock has a 5% drop chance for random parts (Side Fins, Back Fins, Windows, Submarine Top, Metal Panels), so expect 20-100 breaks per full set; drill continuously as they regenerate every few minutes.
Alternative Routes
If rocks feel sparse, circle the depot’s eastern cliff edges near the oil rig path for smaller scattered clusters. Videos confirm this lighthouse-adjacent area as the densest hotspot for quick laps.
