Guides

Jujutsu Infinite drops you into a race against time, where Mission Essence slips through your fingers as you chase power, secrets, and the next big break.

If you are curious about how to get Mission Essence and use it, jump right in.

How to Get Mission Essence in Jujutsu Infinite

Complete missions across various locations to earn Mission Essence as standard rewards, with each task typically granting two units. Take on investigation missions after reaching level 60 or defeat bosses, ideally with a group, for larger amounts. Bring the collected essence to the Clan Head NPC in the lobby to trade it toward raising your Sorcerer Grade and accessing higher levels.

Mission Essence is one of the most basic items that you need in order to rank up in Jujutsu Infinite. You can easily get these by completing missions available in the game. Alternatively, you can get these Essences by completing Investigation tasks or by taking down Bosses. Currently, these are the only three ways you can collect Mission Essences in the game.

Keep grinding the missions in the game, collecting XP, and improving your Skill Tree till you reach level 60. Now, you are eligible to rank up your character to a Grade 4 Sorcerer. You can now use 25 Mission Essence that you have gathered to the Clan Head and ask them to rank you up by spending just $5000.

Best missions to farm Mission Essence fast

Mission Essence in Jujutsu Infinite comes mainly from completing missions given by quest NPCs in various map areas. The best ones for fast farming are quick, repeatable quests that reward 1-2 Essence each, allowing rapid cycling. Prioritize these to maximize efficiency while also gaining EXP and cash.

Top Farming Missions

  • Tokyo City quests: Short tasks from early NPCs like patrol or enemy clears; complete in under 2 minutes for consistent 2 Essence drops.

  • Shibuya Incident missions: Slightly tougher but higher yield (up to 3 Essence); ideal for mid-level players due to density of spawns.

  • Kyoto area dailies: Fast travel between nearby quest givers for 10+ missions per loop, netting 20 Essence in 10-15 minutes.

Speed Strategies

Team up with 2-3 players to finish quests simultaneously and share progress. Reset by leaving/rejoining the server after clearing all available quests in one zone. Post-level 60, mix in Investigation missions from special NPCs for 5-10 Essence each.
Avoid story mode quests, as they take longer for less Essence per minute.

Which missions drop the most Mission Essence per hour

Mission Essence yields the highest hourly rates from repeatable, short-duration missions in Jujutsu Infinite, especially when chaining 20+ quests per loop in optimal zones.

Highest-Per-Hour Missions

  • Kyoto dailies: Up to 25-30 Essence/hour solo by rapid quest cycling (10 missions yielding 20 Essence in ~10 minutes, repeatable).

  • Shibuya Incident clears: 30+ Essence/hour in groups, with denser spawns allowing 3 Essence per 1-2 minute quest.

  • Tokyo City patrols: Steady 20-25 Essence/hour early-game; scales to 35+ with teams due to quick enemy clears.

Maximizing Rates

Group with players to parallelize kills and finish faster, hitting 40-50 Essence/hour combined. Post-level 60, Investigations boost to 50+/hour for 5-10 Essence each, but require more time per task.
Server-hop after exhausting zones to reset quests without downtime.
