Chapter 1: Find Lana’s Home and Help Her Escape
Lana’s house is hidden deep within the Halloween event area, surrounded by glowing pumpkins and eerie fog. Players must locate her by exploring the spooky neighborhood and following the subtle clues near the haunted mansion. Once inside, speak to Lana and complete her tasks to help her escape from the mysterious force keeping her trapped. Completing this part of the quest progresses the storyline and rewards you with exclusive lore pieces and special event items.
To enter the Lana lore quests, you must enter the green portal from the post-runway screen. Once you enter the lobby, you must join a match area. Up to 8 players can join together in the quest.
After you enter the game, you will start at the well. From here, one of the players from your team must find Lana’s house. The way to this place can be difficult to find alone.
To find the house, follow the white flowers on the path. The white flowers will lead you to Lana’s house. If you are in a two-way lane, just check which one has white flowers on the roadside. This will clear the first section of chapter 1.
For the second section, you must help Lana pack her items and leave her house. To do so, find a teddy bear, a camera, a journal, a nail file, a Greek tale book, and a palette. These items are located around the house and barn area.
To unlock these rooms, you must find the keys scattered around the house. There are six locks and their corresponding keys that you must discover. Each room contains Lana’s personal effects which you need to deposit into the suitcase in her room.
1. Camera – Blue Lock
The blue key is on top of the ladder in the barn. Once you find it, go to the first floor and enter the first room on the left. There, you will see the blue lock on the door on the right. After opening the blue lock, look towards the boxes on the left and grab the camera.
2. Nail File – Orange Lock
To find the nail file, you must find the orange key that unlocks the orange lock door by the living room on the left. You can find the orange key in the kitchen by the desk on your right. Once you enter the orange lock room, you will find the nail file right by the dustbin.
3. Journal – Red Key
In the kitchen, you will also find the red key inside the pan beside the door that will help you unlock the red lock. The red lock door is located in the basement on the left side of Lana’s home on the outside. You can discover the journal behind the drawer on the right side.
4. Teddy Bear – Purple Key
The purple key is located in the room with the stairs leading to the attic. You can use it to unlock the purple lock door in the garage outside the home. Inside the garage, behind the lying wooden planks, you will get the teddy bear.
5. Palette – Pink Key
To find the pink key, visit Lana’s room and check the corner behind the box. Once you have the key, walk downstairs and unlock the pink lock door located in the living room. After entering the room, find the palette behind the lamp.
6. Greek Tales Book – Green Key
In the living room area, look behind the tall plants to find the green key. Once you have the key, go upstairs to the first room on the left. Then, climb the ladder and unlock the green lock to enter the attic. You will find the Greek Tales book here.
Chapter 2: Collect Map Pieces in Hospital
The hospital section begins once Lana directs you to find the remaining map pieces scattered across dark patient rooms and corridors. Watch for flickering lights and faint whispers that hint at nearby clues. Search behind curtains, inside lockers, and on desks covered with old medical notes. Some areas may require solving quick button prompts or finding a hidden key to open locked wards. Collect all fragments to reveal the next location on Lana’s cursed map and continue piecing together her story.
In chapter 2 of the Lana Lore quest, you must find six map pieces and escape Nurse Julie. Here is a list of locations where you can find the map pieces in the hospital quest:

- The last toilet stall in the bathroom
- Recreation room
- Storage room
- Head Nurse Julie’s office
Once you collect the map pieces, you will have to run an obstacle course to evade the wrath of the evil Nurse. Keep running and that is the only way to escape her.
Chapter 3: Clear the Maze and Defeat Lina
Lina waits at the end of the maze, guarding the final piece of Lana’s lore challenge. Move through each corridor carefully-false turns lead to traps that cost time and progress. Watch for glowing symbols on the walls; they hint at the correct path forward. Once you reach her, react quickly to her shifting attacks and time your moves between her spells. Defeating Lina rewards the last lore item needed to complete the Halloween quest and reveal Lana’s hidden story.
For the final chapter of the Lana lore quest in the latest DTI Halloween update, you have to clear a maze and defeat Lina in a boss battle. The game will instruct you to follow the light which will confuse you easily as there are candles and fireflies to follow along the maze. While the latter is the correct way, you can clear the maze easily by following the red trails on the ground.
After getting out of the maze, you will meet Lina who has held Lana captive. Once she is done talking, you will have to grab the scythe from the ground. Use the scythe to fight the doppelgangers and Lina. Defeating Lina can be a little easier if you have more players with you in the lobby.
In this boss battle, you will need to dodge multiple attacks for Lina to get serious and fight you one-on-one. When she gets down from the podium, you can use the scythe and slice through her. After defeating her, Lana will be free at last. Or, is she?
