In The Forge’s shadowy depths, the Evil Eye lurks as the ultimate mining prize-grab it before rivals spot its glow.
How to Obtain Evil Eye in The Forge
Head to the Cavern Depths in The Forge and mine Evil Ore nodes with a Titanium Pickaxe or higher. These nodes glow purple and spawn randomly after wave 10. Break them fully to drop the Evil Eye item, which has a 5% chance per node. Equip it in your accessory slot for permanent night vision and a 10% speed boost while mining. Repeat runs increase your odds since nodes respawn each wave.
Evil Eye ore is a Mythical rarity ore that can only be obtained from mining special Red Crystals inside the Crimson Depths (Raven Cave). This cave can only be unlocked by completing the second stage of the Raven quest. Also, if you are unable to access the location and its quest, make sure to have reached level 70 and unlocked the Frostspire Expanse in the game.
Once you’ve finished the quest, you can access the cave and mine Large Red Crystals and Heart of the Island to get the Evil Eye ore in The Forge. These rocks can drop the Evil Eye ore. However, we recommend mining the Large Red Crystals, as they have the highest chance to drop one. The Heart of the Island rock can also drop the Evil Eye ore. It can be a great option to farm the Stolen Heart and the Evil Eye altogether.
The Large Red Crystals have a massive durability of 32,200 HP, and the Heart of the Island rock with 32,500 HP. To break these rocks, you will obviously require some of the best pickaxes in The Forge. But that’s not all, there is only a 1 in 33333 chance to get the Evil Eye ore in The Forge from these rocks. Moreover, to break the Large Red Crystals or Heart of the Island rock, you must have a minimum of a 650 mining power pickaxe.
So, consider breaking this rock till you spot the ore inside. If the rock doesn’t have the Evil Eye, don’t mine it completely and leave it to restore. Continue the process till you finally spot the required ore, and then mine the rock. Lastly, don’t forget to redeem The Forge codes for free rerolls and use them to get some of the best races from our The Forge Race Tier List. Using a Dwarf or Angel race will help you mine with higher luck to obtain the Evil Eye ore in The Forge.
The Forge Evil Eye Uses
Players craft Evil Eye in The Forge to boost mining yields and reveal hidden ore veins underground. This item pierces through rock layers, spotting rare deposits from afar during digs. Equip it on pickaxes for faster extraction rates on tough nodes, or trade multiples at the anvil for permanent upgrades to your gear’s detection range. Miners pair it with dynamite runs to clear paths quicker and haul bigger loads back to base.
The primary use of the Evil Eye is just like any other ore, to improve the multiplier. With a 13x multiplier, it can be used to forge some of the best weapons recipe and armor recipes. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with any ore trait. Evil Eye ore has a base sale value of $249 due to its rarity.
Best pickaxe level and stats for farming Evil Eye
A pickaxe with at least 650 mining power is essential for efficiently farming Evil Eye ore in The Forge on Roblox, as it breaks the required Large Red Crystals and Heart of the Island rocks in Raven Cave. The Prismatic Pickaxe or Dragon Head Pickaxe meets this threshold and serves as a strong baseline. Higher-end options with added luck stats outperform for prolonged farming due to Evil Eye’s 1 in 33,333 drop rate.
Recommended Pickaxes
-
Prismatic Pickaxe: Minimum viable at 650+ power; reliable for entry-level farming without excessive time loss.
-
Dragon Head Pickaxe: Superior power and efficiency for faster breaks on 32,200+ HP nodes.
-
Arcane/Demonic Variants: Add 51%+ luck via runes (e.g., two luck runes + one yield rune) for more drops per session.
Key Stats to Prioritize
Prioritize mining power first (650 minimum), then luck (aim for 50%+ from runes, races like Angel/Dwarf, or boosts) to counter low RNG. Speed runes help loop resets, while yield increases total ore attempts. Avoid low-power tools, as they drastically slow farms.
Best pickaxe rune setup for 650+ mining power
For pickaxes with 650+ mining power like the Prismatic or Heavenly in The Forge on Roblox, prioritize rune setups that balance extra power, luck, and speed to optimize Evil Eye farming efficiency.
Top Rune Setup
Use 4 rune slots on Prismatic/Heavenly pickaxes with:
-
2x Miner Shard runes (S-tier): Boost luck, 5% extra ore chance, mining speed, and damage for overall progression.
-
1x Mine Power rune (high roll preferred): Ensures breaking high-HP nodes like Large Red Crystals faster.
-
1x Luck Shard or Swift Mining rune: Adds 50%+ luck or speed to counter Evil Eye’s low drop rate.
Alternatives
-
All-power build (3x Power + 1x Speed): Maximizes breaks per minute on 32k+ HP rocks when luck is already high from race/pickaxe.
-
Yield-focused (2x Luck + 1x Yield + 1x Power): Stacks extra ores but yield doesn’t fully stack; best for volume farming.
Higher base power pickaxes need less power runes, freeing slots for luck to hit 100%+ effective rates.
