FischFright Event Guide: Spooky Frightful Eerie Mutations Relics Enchantments This Halloween Season

Guides

Fisch’s creepiest side hides behind its rarest mutations-Frightful, Spooky, Haunted, and Eerie. Each one warps your catch into something straight from a nightmare, but getting them takes more than luck. Here’s how to trigger these chilling transformations and claim the rarest horrors in Roblox Fisch.

To get the FischFright mutations like Frightful, Spooky, Haunted, and Eerie in Fisch, players can appraise fishes from the Halloween Appraiser. Alternatively, some of the mutations are available through the limited event relics or rods.

How to Appraise a Fish for FischFright Mutations in Fisch

Check the fish’s eyes for glowing pupils or shadowy veins, signs of Fisch Fright mutations. Examine fins and scales closely-irregular black patterns or translucent patches indicate spooky traits, while faint ghostly auras around the body point to haunted versions. Use a bright light to spot eerie mutations like flickering transparency or unnatural color shifts in low light. Compare against standard Fisch images for baselines, noting size distortions or extra appendages as key flags. Confirm by observing behavior in water, such as erratic twitches or unnatural floating.

FischFright Appraiser is located at Crook’s Hallow. You can either interact with the Flying Dutchman or the Frightful Mirror to get there. Once there, use your Fisch GPS and follow these coordinates: 43, 141, -11623. The Appraiser NPC will be behind the Witch, beside the merchant.

After reaching the FischFright Appraiser NPC, the method will work similarly to the normal Fisch Appraisal. Here is how you can appraise a fish and give it the FischFright mutations in Fisch:

  • Simply walk up to the NPC and select the “Can you appraise this fish?”
  • Once selected, the NPC will appraise the fish for a random price, depending on the weight and rarity of the fish.
  • The amount will reduce if you buy the appraiser’s luck game pass.
  • Once done, you’ll notice that appraised fishes and items carry a small green dot at the bottom left corner.

How to Get Frightful Mutation in Fisch

The Frightful mutation in Fisch can be obtained by exposing your creature to specific conditions in darker biomes where eerie energy is strongest. Use mutation catalysts found from rare event drops or by trading with other players who specialize in dark-type mutations. Keeping your Fisch’s environment spooky, with items that resonate with the Frightful theme, increases the chance of triggering this mutation. Patience and repeated attempts are often needed, as the mutation rate depends on rarity and Fisch type.

The Frightful mutation is obtainable once you have used the Frightful relic on your rod. To get the Frightful relic, look for the Flying Dutchman announcement while you are in Crook’s Hallow.

The location will be revealed on your screen. Go to his ship and purchase the Frightful relic for 2000 Candy. You can also get it from Trick-or-Treating at a 0.49% chance. Now, enchant your rod and start fishing to get the Frightful enchantment. It gives 10% chance to apply Frightful mutation on fish.

How to Get Eerie Mutation in Fisch

The Eerie Mutation in Fisch can be obtained by fusing creatures with dark or ghostly traits during mutation events or under specific conditions, such as nighttime or within haunted locations in the game. Using mutation catalysts that enhance spooky or spectral attributes increases your chances. Keep an eye on the mutation lab’s rotation, as certain eerie gene combinations only appear during limited-time events or special updates.

Similar to the Frighful relic, you can also purchase the Eerie relic from the Flying Dutchman announcement in Crook’s Hallow. The Eerie relic costs 2500 Candy and can be used as a secondary enchantment. You can also get it from Trick-or-Treating at a 0.49% chance. So, you can stack your rod with Frighful and Eerie enchantments to get both mutations on fishes.

How to Get Haunted Mutation in Fisch

To obtain the Haunted mutation in Fisch during FischFright 2025, catch fish at Crook’s Hallow and take them to the Appraiser NPC behind the Witch at coordinates 43, 141, -11623, accessed via the Flying Dutchman or Frightful Mirror. The Haunted Rod, once available for purchase, no longer spawns, so appraisal offers the primary path to roll for this mutation on your catches. Pairing it with event fishing boosts chances for rarer outcomes.

The Haunted mutation is available from the Haunted rod in Fisch. As the rod is no longer obtainable, I suggest you stick to the appraisal tech for this mutation.

How to Get Spooky Mutation in Fisch

The Spooky mutation in Fisch appears during the Halloween event or through limited mutation capsules that match the dark, eerie theme. Players can obtain it by fusing creatures with Halloween-exclusive genes or by using a Spooky DNA strand found in seasonal chests. Its appearance features ghostly patterns and glowing eyes, giving any Fisch a haunting look that fits perfectly with the event’s atmosphere.

Spooky is also another mutation only found through Spooky enchanted rods. You can purchase the Spooky relics from the Flying Dutchman in Fisch for 2500 Candy. You can also get it from Trick-or-Treating at a 0.49% chance. Spooky mutation is also obtainable from Spooky Rod in Fisch.
