How to Upgrade Seeds in Grow a Garden

The Seed Stages event in Grow a Garden introduces players to Evo Plants. Evo Plants are not like normal plants we’ve gotten so far from the shop or previous updates. Players can tend Evo plants in Grow a Garden and evolve them for exclusive rewards.
Simply plant the Evo seeds and grow them first. Once an Evo plant is ready, harvest and bring it to the Seed Stage Merchant in the center of the play area. Interact with the Seed Stage Merchant, and select the third option: “I want to evolve this plant.” After that, your plant will be evolved, and you’ll receive an upgraded stage seed and various other rewards.

The new Evo plant seeds bring fresh variations to the Seed Stages event, giving players more combinations to experiment with and evolve their gardens. There are four Evo plant seeds in Grow a Garden. You can purchase them using Sheckles from the Seed Stages NPC, Elijah. The seeds go out of stock once you buy them. You’ll have to wait for the next restock to purchase the Evo seeds again.

The seeds in the shop will be at Stage 1 throughout the course of the event. Once you harvest the plants and upgrade them, you will get the next stage seed, which is the Stage 2 seed, Stage 3 seed, and so on. Stage 4 is the highest level of upgrade that you can get. How to upgrade seeds from Stage 1 to Stage 4
To upgrade Evo seeds from Stage 1 to Stage 4 in Grow a Garden, you repeatedly grow the plant to full size and then turn it in to the central Seed Stages NPC to evolve it to the next stage, up to Stage IV.
Step 1: Get Stage 1 Evo seeds

Buy Evo Pumpkin, Evo Mushroom, Evo Beetroot, or Evo Blueberry seeds from the Seed Stages event shop/NPC when they are in stock; each purchase unlocks a Stage I version of that seed line.

Keep an eye on restocks, since the shop can sell out and you must wait for new stock to buy more Evo I seeds.
Step 2: Grow Stage 1 and evolve to Stage 2

Plant your Evo I seed in your garden, then water it and use sprinklers and other gear to speed up growth until it is fully grown.

Harvest the fully grown Evo I plant, go to the event NPC in the center of the map, interact, and choose the evolve option to receive an Evo II seed and one Stage 1 reward.
Step 3: Grow Stage 2 and evolve to Stage 3

Plant the new Evo II seed, repeat the same process: water, use sprinklers, and let it grow to full size.

Harvest the Evo II plant and turn it in to the same NPC to evolve it into an Evo III seed, again getting a random Stage 2 reward.
