Teleport in Abyss with Scientist Items

Guides

Teleport through the Abyss: locate every Scientist item and master the art of teleportation with our concise Roblox guide.

How to Unlock Teleport in Abyss

To teleport in Abyss, locate the correct scientist item locations and complete the associated quest steps: gather required items, interact with the teleportation device, and follow the on-screen prompts to activate the portal.

Teleportation or fast travel in Abyss has a weird visual, and you will soon know what I’m talking about. You must unlock the fast travel mechanics if you want to have a faster gun progression in Abyss.

To unlock teleportation, you have to complete the quest given by the Scientist NPC. This NPC is located to the right of the Harpoon shop at the starter island. Simply walk to the NPC and press the ‘E‘ key to interact with him.

Learn how teleportation works in this game, and the Scientist will ask you to bring 4 items scattered across this starter island. Given below is a list of items you need to bring to the Scientist, along with their location:

Door

The door for the teleportation chamber can be found just beside David’s tube shop. It will be leaning on the wall of the shop near the Pufferfish tube. Go near the door and press the ‘E‘ key to collect it.

Toilet Paper

To the left of Henry’s harpoon shop, there will be a group of NPCs seated in a circle and a round table between them. Go near them and under the table, and you will find the toilet paper. Collect it by pressing the ‘E‘ key again.

Toilet Seat

The toilet seat is located just behind Richard’s bestiary stall, located beside the leaderboard area. Collect it in the same way and head for the last item.

Power Relay

The power relay can be found to the right of Billy’s portable stash. It looks like two antennas and a power coil in between, located on top of a rock among the crates.

Having collected all the necessary items, head back to the Scientist NPC and talk to him to unlock the teleportation mechanic.

How to Teleport in Abyss

To teleport in Abyss, visit the scientist vendors to collect the required teleportation items, then use the teleportation console at designated hubs to move between zones.

So, having completed the delivery quest for the Scientist, you can now teleport in Abyss. However, do note that to reach another region, you must first unlock the area and find the teleporter in that region. For this, you will need one of the best tubes from the Abyss tubes list.

Once the connection is made, you can teleport back and forth between the areas with ease.

Best routes to collect all scientist items quickly

In Abyss on Roblox, the best quick route for collecting all four Scientist quest items (Toilet Paper, Toilet, Door, and Power Relays) prioritizes unlocking zones early and minimizing backtracking through the Oxygen Zone and Forgotten Deep.

Quick Start Prep

Unlock the Oxygen Zone first via natural progression, then head to Forgotten Deep to speak with the Scientist NPC and accept the quest. This opens your checklist UI for tracking items.

Optimal Collection Route

Follow this linear path to grab everything in under 10 minutes with good mobility:

  • Toilet Paper: From Oxygen Zone spawn, swim straight to the bathroom area in the first flooded room (left tunnel). It’s on a shelf above the sink.

  • Toilet: Same bathroom-drop down into the stall below the paper. Destroy or interact to loot it.

  • Door: Exit bathroom, head right to the metal hallway; it’s leaning against a wall near collapsed debris before the next oxygen refill.

  • Power Relays (x4): Backtrack slightly to Oxygen Zone power room (central hub), then fan out to four wall outlets in adjacent flooded corridors-grab while circling back to Deep entrance.

Return to Scientist immediately after. Teleporter activates post-hand-in, letting you fast-travel zones next run.

Speed Tips

  • Use oxygen boosts or fast-swim gear if available.

  • Avoid side paths; stick to lit main routes to dodge mobs.

  • Party up-others can ping items on your map. Videos show this route visually for precision.

Tips to avoid common mistakes when collecting scientist items

Common mistakes when collecting Scientist items in Abyss Roblox often stem from poor oxygen management, navigation errors, and rushing without checking the quest UI. Avoiding these keeps runs smooth and under 10 minutes.

Oxygen Management

  • Don’t ignore oxygen refills-players frequently drown mid-run by skipping lit oxygen stations in the Oxygen Zone before entering flooded bathrooms or hallways. Refill every 30 seconds.

  • Avoid gear without swim boosts early; unequipped loadouts drain O2 twice as fast in deep water.

  • Skip side tunnels-many veer into dark mob-heavy paths instead of sticking to main lit corridors from Oxygen Zone spawn to the bathroom (Toilet Paper/Toilet). This adds 2-3 minutes.

  • Wrong Door spot: It’s not in debris piles but leaning visibly against the metal hallway wall post-bathroom-check quest UI pings to confirm.

Item Collection Pitfalls

  • Partial Power Relays: Grabbing only 2-3/4 because outlets blend into walls; systematically check all four adjacent flooded corridors from the central power room.

  • Forgetting quest acceptance: Items won’t register if you haven’t spoken to the Scientist first in Forgotten Deep-always start there.

General Speed Savers

  • Solo queue risks distractions; party members can spotlight items via map pings.

  • Test in a private server first to memorize without mob pressure.
