Best Tips and Tricks to Complete Valentine’s Bestiary in Fisch

Sharpen your aim, track rare Fisch darlings with bait and timing, and use terrain advantages to corral them into prime catches; prioritize conserving energy for the final push, swap flavors to coax resistant specimens, and always check the seasonal patterns to anticipate where the next banner fish will appear.

Before heading out to the new Valentine’s island, you must be aware of a few tips and tricks to catch these fish fast and complete the bestiary. We tried the following combinations to catch them, and these worked the best for completing the Valentine bestiary in Fisch.

1. Best Rods for Valentine’s Bestiary

Choosing the best rod can help you speed up catching every fish from the Valentine’s bestiary. That is why you must use the fishing rods like No-Life Rod and Blade of Glorp, which have a high luck and lure speed combo.

But there can be a few strong fishes in the bestiary that can be a hard catch without a decent rod. So, if you want a smoother fishing experience, make sure you use the Ethereal Prism Rod or the Wind Elemental Rod.

2. Best Baits for Valentine’s Bestiary

The Valentine’s bestiary fishes do not require many essential baits, and this makes catching them a lot easier than that for other updates. But, using a bait to get some extra resilience, lure speed or luck boost is never a bad thing.

So in this case, you can try using the Night Shrimp and Weird Algae that grant a solid luck boost and help you catch the rare ones from the bestiary. Other than that, you must make use of the Fischversation Hearts Box to get the rarest among all the fish, the Sacred Lovestorm Turtle.

3. Use the Best Enchants for Valentine’s Bestiary

Finally, fishing in the Valentine’s bestiary can soon become tiring due to this massive set of 21 fishes to discover. Therefore, you can try enchanting your best rod with the Steady and Quality enchants. These are best for beginner players as they are easily obtainable through the regular enchant relics.

But if you have a chance to get the Exalted Relics, try enchanting your rod with Immortal or Mystical enchant. Both of them can massively improve luck, resilience, and progress speed.

4. Best Rod, Bait, and Enchant Combo for Valentine’s Bestiary

Among all of the options mentioned above, I would suggest using the No-Life Rod or the Ethereal Prism Rod with the Immortal or the Quality enchantments. Along with that, you can try using the Weird Algae or Night Shrimp baits to get some additional luck as well.

While this becomes your ultimate combination of rods and enchants, you can still use the Aurora totems to get an additional luck boost and other Totems in Fisch to spawn the required weather

How to catch the Sacred Lovestorm Turtle in Fisch Valentine’s event

You catch the Sacred Lovestorm Turtle through a special version of the Lovestorm Hunt, with stricter timing and bait rules than the regular Lovestorm Turtle.

1. Understand the event timing

  • The Sacred Lovestorm Turtle only appears during Valentine’s Day Lovestorm Hunts, not in normal rotations.

  • In 2026 it was available only in two fixed windows: February 14 at 21:00 UTC and February 15 at 09:00 UTC, each lasting 30 minutes and allowing multiple catches.

  • Outside these special windows you can only catch the regular or Supercharged Lovestorm Turtle, not the Sacred one.

2. Getting to the Lovestorm pool

  • Wait for the on-screen notification like “A Lovestorm has been spotted past the Ocean!” then head back to Moosewood’s shore if you’re elsewhere.

  • Spawn a boat at Moosewood and sail toward Roslit/Rosalita Bay; look for a purple or pink glowing pool in the ocean with heart particles above it.

  • The pool’s exact spot shifts slightly but is always in the ocean between Moosewood and Roslit/Rosalita Bay; use your radar if visibility is bad.

3. Required bait and gear

  • For the Sacred variant specifically, you must use Fischversation Hearts Box as bait; it is optional for normal Lovestorm Turtle, but required for Sacred.

  • Bait choice for regular hunts matters less than luck, but for Sacred you should combine Hearts Box with a high-luck rod.

  • Recommended rods: No-Life Rod, Ethereal Prism Rod, or Wind Elemental Rod, as they provide strong luck and resilience against the turtle’s harsh catch debuff.

  • The Lovestorm Turtle applies around -45% progress speed, so weaker rods feel extremely slow; high-tier rods counter this.

4. Boosting your chances

  • Use an Aurora Totem (if you have one) right before or at the start of the hunt to trigger Aurora Borealis weather and gain a server-wide luck boost.

  • Stay inside the glowing Lovestorm pool; fishing outside the purple/pink zone cannot yield any Lovestorm Turtle.

  • Cast repeatedly for the whole 30-minute Sacred window; luck decides which fish you hook, so the more attempts you make, the higher your chance.

5. Step-by-step summary

  1. Log in during the Sacred Lovestorm Turtle Valentine window when the special Lovestorm Hunt is active.

  2. When the Lovestorm notification appears, go to Moosewood, summon a fast boat (Peppermint-Ski or similar), and sail toward Roslit/Rosalita Bay.

  3. Find the purple/pink Lovestorm pool with heart particles and enter the zone.

  4. Equip a high-luck rod (No-Life, Ethereal Prism, Wind Elemental) and Fischversation Hearts Box bait.

  5. (Optional but strong) Activate an Aurora Totem for boosted luck.

  6. Fish only inside the pool, casting continuously until you hook the Sacred Lovestorm Turtle or the event window ends.

If you tell me what rod, bait, and totems you currently have, I can suggest an exact setup and whether it’s worth grinding regular Lovestorm Turtle in the meantime.

What are the best rods and bait for Sacred Lovestorm Turtle

For the Sacred Lovestorm Turtle, you want maximum luck plus the required Valentine bait.

Best rods

These are the top choices if you have them:

  • No-Life Rod – High luck and great lure speed, very strong overall for Valentine rares.

  • Ethereal Prism Rod – High-tier rod with excellent stats and resilience for long, slow catches like Lovestorm.

  • Wind Elemental Rod – Another strong late-game option that handles the Lovestorm debuff well.

If you lack those, use your highest-luck rod available (Seraphic, Blade of Glorp, etc.) rather than lower-tier rods with more control.

Best bait

For Sacred specifically:

  • Mandatory bait:Fischversation Hearts Box – Required for the Sacred Lovestorm Turtle variant during the Valentine Sacred window.

Generic helpful bait (for other Valentine rares / normal Lovestorm):

  • Night Shrimp – Solid luck boost, good for any rare in the pool.

  • Weird Algae – Similar luck-boosting role if you are not in the Sacred-only window.

Ideal setup recommendation

  • Rod: No-Life Rod or Ethereal Prism Rod (or your highest-luck rod) with Immortal or Quality enchant if possible.

  • Bait: Fischversation Hearts Box for Sacred; swap to Night Shrimp / Weird Algae when just farming normal Lovestorm or other Valentine fish.

If you tell me what rods you actually own, I can rank them for you and give a specific “use this one” answer.
