The Fortnite x Ninja Blitz Royale Takeover event kicks off on January 20, 2026, at 6 PM ET, bringing a fast-paced limited-time mode inspired by Ninja’s signature playstyle. Players can join by selecting the Blitz Royale playlist from the main menu once the event begins. Participation is open to all, and completing event challenges during the takeover grants exclusive Ninja-themed rewards, including a special outfit and back bling.

The Ninja Twitter for Fortnite’s Blitz Royale mode kicks off on August 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM ET (1:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM BST / August 3, 2025, 1:30 AM IST), following a Dragon Ball-themed event at 3:00 PM ET.
As per Ninja, the takeover is expected to last until August 11, based on the average duration of Blitz Royale’s weekly themed upgrades and the arrival of Chapter 6 Season 4.
According to Ninja, each day a different loot pool will appear in Blitz, where Ninja will pick the pool for one day, and the player community will choose the loot pool on other days by voting on Ninja’s X handle, Twitch, and YouTube channels during his live streams.
To play the mode, ensure that Fortnite is up to date on your platform – PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android, or iOS. Open the game, navigate to the “Discover” tab in the main menu, and select the “Blitz Royale” playlist, which will showcase the “Blitz Boss” variant with Ninja skin on the cover.
