After the rift opens completely, we can expect some OG map changes for the final time before a new season goes live next month. Moreover, Epic could unvault new weapons to mix up the loot pool and gameplay. Fortnite hasn’t revealed any details about the event.

A red butterfly circled players before entering the rocket via a rift to sabotage it, marking a new addition.
The rocket launched slowly from its silo on the west side of the OG map, shedding its first booster onto crops at Anarchy Acres.
It accelerated into the sky as a glowing blue light, then descended while firing red beams that merged toward Tilted Towers.
Rifts and Path
Rifts intercepted the rocket: first pulling it away before impact, then reappearing over Moisty Mire.
It flew over Lonely Lodge, Wailing Woods, Risky Reels, Loot Lake, past Tilted Towers, and tore another rift near Greasy Grove.
A larger rift over Loot Lake propelled it skyward, where it struck to form a massive red Sideways rift (the “Crack”) instead of the original blue.

Changes from 2018 included blue rocket lights, no screen shake on rifts, and the red butterfly sabotage.
The event used original audio but lasted just minutes, teasing map changes like new POIs or rifts without immediate interactivity.
