Part 2: Fight Primeval Source Dragon Mech in Genshin Impact 5.5
After submitting the Golden Entreaties, you will enter the boss arena of the Primeval Source Dragon Mech. This fight can only be fought as the Pyro Traveler, and you cannot use other characters. Here is how you can fight the Primeval Source Dragon Mech boss:
- Attack the hands of the Primeval Source Dragon Mech when it places them on the ground.
- Use the Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst to deal increased damage.
- Dodge when the Primeval Source Dragon Mech slams with his hands and sprint around when it shoots lasers.
After you have decreased the shield of the Primeval Source Dragon Mech by 70%, it will attack you with an unstoppable attack, caging you inside a prism. Now, the PoV will change to your Saurian Companion.
Use your Saurian Companion to constantly hit the prism cage. After some time, a cutscene will begin, and the Sage of the Stolen Flame will appear.
Part 3: Speak with the Sage of the Stolen Flame
The Sage of the Stolen Flame – Kukulkan will reveal himself before your saurian companion. He will reveal that he planned to bring the Saurian Companion here from the start so they could then choose to side with the dragons. After revealing a ton of lore, he asks your Saurian Companion to trigger the Huitzilopochtli to activate the Sweeping Skyfire.
Choose to deactivate the Sweeping Skyfire to continue the story. Next, you will have to escape the area and return to the traveler.
Note:
You can choose to activate the Huitzilopochtli instead, which will unlock a secret cutscene of the aftermath. Once the cutscene ends, you will return to the point before your confirmation and it would continue looping until you deactivate the Sweeping Skyfire to progress the quest.
Walk on the paths and attack any ‘messages’ that stop you until you reach the caged Traveler. Hit the prism cage to free the Traveler.
Defeat Primeval Source Dragon Mech Boss in Genshin Impact 5.5
The Primeval Source Dragon Mech serves as the final challenge in the Emberforged quest, featuring devastating AoE attacks, energy bursts, and precision strikes powered by ancient mechanisms. To defeat it, target its exposed cores during the overload phase, using shield or healing characters to endure its energy surges. Now, you will have to fight the Primeval Source Dragon Mech boss again, but this time, you will have to defeat it. The fight goes the same as before, but you can now block the attacks from the Primeval Source Dragon Mech.
