How to Complete Veil of the Forsaken Bestiary in Fisch
Access Veil of the Forsaken pond after solving the Chess Board Puzzle in Calm Zone and defeating Hydra at the Forsaken Gate. Stock up on bait like Insects for Hydra Haddock in Windy weather, Bagels for Serpent Surgeonfish in Foggy conditions, Worms for Kraken Koi, Minnows for Gorgon Grouper, Squid for Siren Sculpin, Seaweed for Cyclone Scorpionfish in Rain, and Truffle Worm for Twilight Tentaclefish. Equip rods such as Tempest or Challenger’s with Resilient enchantments to counter the slow progress speeds on rarer catches like the Mythical Typhoon Tailfin.
The only way to fish in Veil of the Forsaken is when you upgrade the submarine to level 3 and unlock the Calm zone. After you pass the Calm zone and beat the Scylla boss in Fisch, the Scylla pool will open. After doing so, you can fish in the Veil of the Forsaken. Trust me, finding the different varieties of fish is easy here. However, catching them can be pretty hard.
Apart from the Hydra Haddock common fish, all the Veil of the Forsaken fish come with a negative progress speed. To tackle that, you can use the best Fisch rods that come with good resilience. Although completing the bestiary doesn’t require the secret fish, to get that, you must wait for the Scylla event to begin. Once it happens, you can catch it. For the enchantments, I suggest the Quality or Resilient enchants. If you are using a rod with good resilience, you can get Steady on it to lower the negative progress speed as well. To defeat the Scylla boss and craft the crossbow in Fisch’s Veil of the Forsaken, first reach the area by progressing through Mariana’s Veil zones like Volcanic Vents, Challenger’s Deep, Abyssal Zenith, and Calm Zone with a level 3 submarine and Glimmerfin Suit.
Preparation
Equip an Advanced Glider from Glacial Grotto for fast travel and dodging attacks; bring friends to split part collection tasks faster. Jump down the trapdoor after the Calm Zone puzzle, wait for the countdown, then start the 10-minute fight once the cutscene plays.

Scylla spawns with four heads firing projectiles-glide constantly to evade while grabbing the three glowing white-highlighted Crossbow parts (press E to pick up):

Assembling Crossbow
Head to the construction site at coordinates XYZ: -4360, -11090, 7140 on a higher platform north of the entrance. Hold E while facing each part slot to place Base first, then Bow, then Arrow-triggering a cutscene victory. This unlocks the fishing pond, bestiary access, Scylla hunts, XP, credits, and progress toward the Ethereal Prism Rod.
