Rod of the Eternal King Crafting Location
The Rod of the Eternal King can be crafted at the Ancient Forge located in the Crystal Caverns area. To access this location, players must complete the Guardian’s Trial and gather the required materials, including Eternal Fragments, King’s Essence, and Refined Mythril. Once at the forge, interact with the crafting station and combine the materials to create the rod. The recipe becomes visible only after obtaining the Royal Blueprint, which drops from high-tier sea monsters during night cycles.
The Rod of the Eternal King can be crafted at the Ancient Archives region in the Ancient Isles. Being a fairly new location added to the game a few weeks back, the Ancient Isles can be easily reached by using your boat. The island lies east of Moosewood, and you must steer carefully when you are near it.
Having located the island, make your way to its western part, where a huge waterfall awaits. If you turn on your fish radar, you will notice that this region is abundant in Xiphactinus fish. Now, you need to climb up a cliff in front of the fall and then use a glider to enter the cave hidden behind it. Finally, use the rope inside to go down to the secret chamber.
Collect the 4 Ancient Fragments to open the gates of the Ancient Archives. Once the huge gates open with a loud vibration, you may head inside to the bridge’s end. This is the crafting region where you can craft 10 different rods (and one limited one available during the Fischmas event).
How to Craft the Rod of the Eternal King in Fisch
Head to the Ancient Archives crafting station on Ancient Isles after reaching level 650. Gather 2 Golden Sea Pearls by fishing clams at Roslit Bay’s back waters, 3 Inferno Woods from Roslit Volcano, and 1 Lunar Thread through regular fishing or treasure chests. Combine these materials at the station to assemble the Rod of the Eternal King.
Once you have entered the crafting region of the Ancient Archives, interact with the Stone Anvil in front of you using the ‘E’ key. This will open a crafting menu where you will find the golden and shiny Rod of the Eternal King as the 8th item on the list. Do note that you need to cross level 650 to unlock the rod in the crafting table.
In the description of the rod, you will find the following items required to craft it:
- 2x Golden Sea Pearl: Can be obtained by fishing clams found at the backside of Roslit Bay. By fishing here near the sand, you will have a small chance of getting the Golden Sea Pearls from the clams.
- 3x Inferno Wood: For this item, you can fish anywhere at Roslit Bay or in the Roslit Volcano to have a chance at obtaining the Inferno Wood.
- 1x Lunar Thread: The Lunar Threads are randomly found only through fishing and you can have very small chance of getting them through Treasure Chests (3% chance).
Having collected all the necessary items, you can easily craft this rod by spending 250,000 cash and submitting the items you gathered.
