The Tidefall area hides one of Fisch’s most secret mechanics-an underwater zone few players manage to reach. With the right gear, timing, and strategy, you can access it and claim treasures that most anglers only whisper about.
Not because it is not strong enough, but rather, there won’t be enough room for that. So, if this interests you even a bit, check this guide to find out how to unlock the Tidefall in Fisch and what the basic materials are that can help unlock this area.
How to Enter Tidefall in Fisch
To reach Tidefall in Fisch, sail your boat from the main hub toward the foggy horizon marked on the map. Spot the narrow channel flanked by jagged rocks and steer through it carefully to avoid collisions. Once past the entrance, dock at the glowing pier on the left shore, then hop off to set foot in the area. Watch for rip currents that can push you back if you drift too close to the waves.
Tidefall is not a specific island but rather a point on the Fisch map, from where you can dive down to reach the new bestiaries, rods, and spears. So, if you have begun your journey from Moosewood, take your best boat or a submarine and head east towards the Ancient Isles.
The Tidefall area is located in this direction, and it won’t be long before you notice the group of boats at these coordinates: 3224, 130, 847. Use the Fisch GPS to reach this location. Now, you can follow the steps below.
- You can now use the submarine to head down and enter the opening below.
- But soon, the submarine will be restricted from heading further down, and you need to get out of that and swim below on your own.
- Dive down and take the path in front of the capsized grey Submarine below to find a small crevice.
- Move through this narrow opening, and you will soon enter the new area called the Tidefall.
- While diving down, remember to equip the Advanced Diving Gear, Super Flippers, and even carry the Tidebreaker so that you make it without the heavy pressure killing you instantly.
- Otherwise, unlike me, if you have unlocked the Water Bubble, equip it and head down, instead of following the above step.
- Tidebreaker goes perfectly with the Water Bubble and will help you reach the entrance before the purple meter even touches 80.

How to Complete Rescue Diver Quest in Fisch and Unlock Abyssal Tonic
To complete the Rescue Diver Quest in Fisch, head to the Tidefall area east of Moosewood and board the large red boat on the surface to speak with the diver NPCs, accepting the task to locate their missing companion. Equip Advanced Diving Gear, Super Flippers, and Tidebreaker, then descend through the nearby underwater crevice past bridge obstacles to the capsized grey submarine, where the lost diver waits right in front; press and hold E to pick him up and swim swiftly back up against the pressure timer to drop him at the boat’s center. Finish the delivery to gain access to the Abyssal Tonic for 500C$, which nullifies deep-sea pressure damage for safe Tidefall travel.
Before fully exploring Tidefall in Fisch, completing the Rescue Diver quest is highly recommended as it unlocks a vital item for this deep-sea adventure. Once you reach the Tidefall area above the water surface, you will notice a huge red boat with a couple of diver NPCs on it.
Get on the boat and interact with them to initiate the recovery quest. They will inform you about a diver who went missing during an earlier expedition. Now, head back down the same underwater path you used to reach Tidefall.
But near the entrance, right in front of the capsized submarine, you will find the lost diver. Interact with him by pressing and holding the ‘E‘ key to carry him on your back. From here, you must swim all the way back to the surface.
This part is time-sensitive due to the high water pressure. Make sure to use the Tidebreaker tool to move faster and reach the surface before your health runs out. Once you return to the red boat and deliver the diver, you will unlock the Abyssal Tonic.
Although the Abyssal tonic exists in the Tidefall area, it remains locked until this quest is completed. After unlocking it, you can purchase the tonic for 500C$. Consuming this tonic completely negates the underwater pressure damage, allowing you to freely travel in and out of the Tidefall crevice without worrying about dying.
