The Forge: Heart of the Island – Mining Location Spawn Guide Roblox

Guides

Deep within Roblox’s The Forge lies the elusive Heart of the Island – a rare mineral core that miners chase for its immense power and value. This guide reveals where to search, how to mine, and the best strategies to claim it before others do.

How to Obtain Heart of the Island in The Forge

To obtain the Heart of the Island in The Forge, access the Crimson Depths (Raven Cave) by finishing the second stage of the Raven quest. Mine the Heart of the Island rocks there using a pickaxe with at least 650 mining power, such as the Prismatic Pickaxe, since these rocks have 32,500 HP durability. The ore drops with a 1 in 123,456 chance, so fully break each rock to maximize results.

The Heart of the Island is a Relic rarity ore that can be obtained by mining the Heart of the Island rock in The Forge. These rocks spawn inside the Crimson Depths (Raven Cave), which you can unlock by completing the second stage of the Raven quest. Also, if you are unable to access the location and its quest, make sure to have reached level 70 and unlocked the Frostspire Expanse in the game.

As a rare spawn, you might not be able to find the Heart of the Island rock every time you visit the cave. If you aren’t able to see one, try breaking the Red Ice Crystals around you. You can even create a private server, and rejoin the game again and again until the Heart of the Island rock spawns. Now that you’ve found the rock, there’s a 1 in 123,456 chance for it to drop upon mining. This makes it the rarest ore in The Forge.

Mining the Heart of the Island rock is a challenge in itself. It has a massive durability of 32,500 HP, and to break it, you’ll require the best pickaxes in The Forge. Moreover, to start mining the rock, you must have a minimum of a 650 mining power pickaxe, like the Prismatic Pickaxe.

We recommend that you fully break the Heart of the Island rock. This is already a rare rock, and on top of that, the ores you get are also very rare, one of them being the Stolen Heart. So, leaving them midway will waste your time. Lastly, don’t forget to redeem The Forge codes for free rerolls. Use them to get some of the best races from our The Forge Race Tier List. Using a Dwarf or Angel race will help you mine with higher luck to obtain the Heart of the Island ore in The Forge.

The Forge Heart of the Island Uses

The Heart of the Island ore offers an 18.5x multiplier for crafting high-end armor in The Forge, maximizing its value there over weapons. Players gain a trait boosting Health by 15%, Physical Damage by 25%, and Movement Speed by 25% for 8 seconds when Health falls below 35%. Selling yields $346 base, but forging equipment provides greater benefits than vendor trades.

The primary use of the Heart of the Island is just like any other ore, to improve the multiplier. With an 18.5x multiplier, it can only be used to forge some of the best armor recipes. You can also use it to craft weapon recipes, but that way you’ll end up missing the ore’s full potential.

It also comes with a goated ore trait that you get on your crafted Armor. The Heart of the Island ore increases your Health by 15%, Physical Damage by 25% and your Movement Speed by 25% for 8 seconds when your Health drops below 35%.

Best pickaxe upgrades to mine Heart of the Island

To mine Heart of the Island efficiently, you want a pickaxe that meets the 650 mining power requirement and also stacks as much luck as possible. The usual target is Prismatic or better, with strong luck and rune slots to push your rare-ore chances.

Minimum pickaxe level

  • The Heart of the Island rock (Heart of the Island Stone) has about 32,500 HP and requires at least 650 mining power before you can even begin damaging it.

  • Guides list Prismatic Pickaxe as the minimum pickaxe that can mine it, since it has 650 base mining power.

Best pickaxes for the job

  • Prismatic Pickaxe: 650 mine power, 4 rune slots, high luck; this is the recommended baseline tool for Heart of the Island runs in Raven Cave/Crimson Depths.

  • Heavenly / Dragon-Head tier: Late-game picks like Heavenly (725 power, ~85% luck) or Dragon-Head are considered the best overall, clearing the 32,500-HP rock much faster while keeping rare-drop odds high.

  • Since pickaxes themselves cannot be upgraded in the usual sense, the main “upgrades” are:

    • Picking a tool with higher base mining power (Void → Prismatic → Heavenly/Dragon-Head).

    • Choosing pickaxes with 3-4 rune slots so you can stack Power and Luck runes for Heart-of-the-Island runs.

  • A common recommendation is to use a Prismatic Pickaxe with luck-boosting runes and race perks, as this both meets the power check and improves your odds on the very low-chance Heart of the Island drop.

Which pickaxe reaches 650+ mining power fastest

The first pickaxe that naturally reaches 650+ mining power is the Prismatic Pickaxe, which is also the earliest practical way to mine Heart of the Island. Everything stronger (Void → Prismatic → Heavenly → Dragon Head) either comes later in World 3 or is simply overkill for the 650 requirement.

Earliest 650+ pickaxe

  • Prismatic Pickaxe: 650 mine power, +20% mining speed, +72% luck, 4 rune slots; sold in the underwater chamber in Frostspire Expanse (World 3).

  • It is explicitly listed as the first pickaxe that meets or exceeds 650 mining power, whereas Aqua (200) and Void (550) are strong but still below the Heart-of-the-Island threshold.

Why it’s the “fastest” route

  • Progression guides for World 3 recommend going from Aqua → Void → Prismatic as the intended late-game path, with Prismatic being your first Heart-of-the-Island-ready pickaxe.

  • Heavenly (725 power) and Dragon Head (750 power) are stronger, but they are more expensive, later unlocks; they do not get you to earlier than Prismatic, they only exceed it once you are already beyond that milestone.
