The Goblin Lord offers three quests in The Forge that lead to the Goblin Crown. First, gather 50 Goblin Teeth from goblin camps around the central forge area. Next, craft a Goblin Scepter using 10 Iron Ingots and those teeth at any anvil station. Finally, defeat the Goblin Lord boss in his lair north of the main hub, bringing the scepter to trigger the fight and claim the crown upon victory.

Before you even think about getting Goblin Crown in The Forge, you must get to the Forgotten Kingdom by using the Portal Tool. Once you do that, complete the Goblin King Quests. This will remove the Goblin from his second island location.

Velchire comes from Icy Boulders and Ice Crystals (small, medium, and large) inside Frostspire Expanse caves, including Spider Cave and The Peak.
It is not tied to a specific single rock; any of these ice nodes in Frostspire can drop it, but only in that region.

Best farming locations

Spider Cave: Early Frostspire cave north of the Frostspire village; good starter place to break lots of rocks, pebbles, and boulders while you level up.
The Peak cave: Higher-level cave south of Frostspire town near the lake and Bjorn; this is the main recommended spot once you are strong enough, as it has dense Icy Boulders and Ice Crystals.

Drop rate and requirements

Velchire has a roughly 1 in 1,450 chance to drop from each eligible node, so expect a long grind.

Best farming route for Velchire in Frostspire Expanse

A precise “best” Velchire route is hard to confirm without live access to current pathing maps and drop-rate testing, and that information cannot be pulled directly right now. However, the most efficient farming reported by recent route guides centers on a tight loop around the Frostspire lake and the nearby caves in World 3, because that’s where Icy Boulders and Ice Crystals spawn in the highest density.

Recommended core loop

Start at Frostspire Expanse town, head south to the lake, and circle the shoreline, prioritizing Icy Boulders and all crystal formations you see. This keeps you in one of the densest ice-node clusters without long travel times.
From the south/lake edge, dip into Spider Cave or The Peak (whichever you can comfortably clear) to sweep the cave crystals, then return to the lake and repeat; this “lake → cave → lake” loop minimizes downtime between node respawns while staying in Velchire-eligible rocks.

Gear and setup tips for the route

Use at least a high-tier pickaxe (Magma/Prismatic-level or better) plus any Luck boosts or mining runes you have, because Velchire’s per-node drop rate is extremely low and the only way to “fix” that is to break more rocks per minute.
