Complete the Headless Horseman quests in Fisch FischFright by following the quest chain from the NPCs, gathering the required keys, and activating the Jack-O-Blazer Rod beacon at the designated spooky locations. Remember to check your map for event timers and complete any optional tasks to maximize rewards.
The Headless Horseman is one of the quest givers in the latest FischFright update of Fisch. The event will be running till November 1, 2025, so you will get enough time to complete this questline and get the exclusive rod.
The Headless Horseman calls his questline Jack-o-Blazers, and there are five tasks you must complete as stated below:
1. Find a Frightful Jack-O-Lantern
The Jack-o-Lantern can be caught by fishing near Crook’s Hallow, but its drop rate is very low. You must have the Frightful mutation in Fisch on the creature. Use the Frightful Relic to enchant your rod, or catch the item first and then appraise it to get the Frightful Jack-o-Lantern.
2. Collect 5 Wisps
Wisps spawn randomly at the graveyard near the Silas NPC, behind the area where the Headless Horseman stands. Take the path beside the Headless Horseman, and you’ll find a huge Nessie statue and Silas standing beside it. Around this statue, gravestones are scattered on each corner, where the Wisps spawn. When the gravestone gets a blue highlight, move close to it, press the ‘E’ key, and grab the Wisp.

3. Find a Haunted Candle
The Haunted Candle is found at the Mansion. Make sure you complete the first two tasks before going for this. The Haunted Candle will be dark in complexion, and it can be in any location inside the mansion. Luckily, it can only replace the normal candles, so look for it in those areas.
4. Find a Blazed Handle
It can be obtained by submitting ingredients to the Witch’s Cauldron. All you need to do is be alert to the notification for when the goblin spawns in the main world. Reach the same island and locate the goblin.
Interact with it, complete the challenge, and you’ll have a Witch ingredient. Submit this at the Witch’s cauldron to get random FischFright rewards with a chance to get the Burning Handle in Fisch.
5. Collect 5000 Candy
Some easy ways to earn Candy in the Fisch FischFright event are by trick or treating, completing the NPC quests, submitting ingredients to the Witch’s cauldron, and opening Frightful Crates. So, while collecting them, you can check with the Headless Horseman to keep a check on your progress.
Once you have completed all the quests for the Headless Horseman, you’ll be able to get the Jack-o-Blazer Rod in the game.
