Travel to the Bayda Harbor domain in the Bayda Peninsula of the Land of Somnia, then interact with the marked NPC near the entrance. After speaking with Verna in Frostmoon Enclave, she will tell you to throw the fragments on the final stone to open the sealed sanctum. This will complete the broken pillar above Frostmoon Enclave, something that you have slowly fixed with each of the pre-requisite quests.
Now, a track will appear that you can follow by turning into a Kuuhenki to reach the sky pillars.
Unlock the Mechanism Seal
After following the track, you will appear on the sky pillar that you just fixed. Here, you will have to follow the circular moonlanes and pull the nearby pillars with the power of the Kuuvahki. Follow the circular lane and keep your eyes open for surrounding pillars with a blue mark. Press ‘T’ when you are near them to pull them into the mechanism. Continue doing it for all the pillars, and you will have unlocked the mechanism.
After the mechanism is unlocked, the Traveler and Verna will be taken to the entrance of the Court of the First Edict. Enter the Court of the First Edict to continue the quest.
Investigate the Court of the First Edict
After you enter the Court of the First Edict, the first thing you will have to do is ‘Investigate‘ the sword in the little water body right before you. After that, a moonlane will appear that you can ride to the next floor.
On the next floor, the Traveler and Verna will meet a projection of Lady Aila. She will tell you the significance of the sword, alongside a bunch of lore.
Investigate the Sword Aila Left Behind
Get back to the sword that Aila left behind, and this time, the sword will be hovering above its original location. Interact with the Sword to obtain it. The sword is basically Moonweaver’s Dawn, a 4-star weapon that is pretty good. This sword will be permanently added to your inventory and may become useful later down the line in Nod-Krai World Quests.
Exit the Court of the First Edict
Now, exit the Court of the First Edict to find Verna’s aunt waiting for you outside. She will forcefully take Verna to the Lady Moonchanter, while letting the Traveler and Paimon go free. This will complete both The Echoes of the Unfinished Path quest and Polkka Beneath the Moon’s Oracle World Quest.
