Genshin Impact Nod-Krai Craftable Weapons Guide How to Get and Forge

Guides

Forged in the frozen heart of Natlan’s Nod-Krai region, the new craftable weapons bring distinctive power boosts and unique effects that reshape team strategies. Here’s what sets each one apart-and which might be worth your materials.

Some of the new Nod-Krai weapons are really good, so you shouldn’t miss out on getting your hands on them. Here is a quick guide on Nod-Krai craftable weapons, on how to get them, craft them, and their stats and effects.

How to Get Nod-Krai Craftable Weapons

To craft Nod-Krai weapons in Genshin Impact, gather Nod-Krai Ingots from Natlan’s Forging Kilns or boss drops, then head to the Nod-Krai Forge in the Stadium of the Sacred Flame. Combine three Ingots with one Luminary’s Mark of the Forge-obtained via Nod-Krai challenges or events-and select your desired weapon blueprint. The crafting process takes 30 seconds at the forge terminal, yielding a base rarity 4-star weapon that upgrades through refinement with extra materials. Match your character’s element to the weapon’s type for optimal stats like increased CRIT Rate or ATK boosts.

To craft a Nod-Krai craftable weapon, you first have to purchase their diagram from the Rossum Workshop in Nasha Town. Head to the Blacksmith icon in Nasha Town and speak with Lyulka. Select the “I’d like to buy a weapon” option to open the Nod-krai craftable weapon diagram shop. Now, you will have to purchase the diagrams you want to forge by exchanging the required materials. Here is a quick list of all the items you need to exchange for the new craftable weapons of Genshin Impact.

After you purchase the recipe, speak with Lyulka again, and this time select the “I’d like something made” option. Now, learn the new recipe by selecting it, and then you will be able to craft it. To craft the Nod-krai weapons, you will need Borderlander Billets for that specific weapon type, Rainbowdrop Crystals, and White Iron Chunks.

The Borderlander Billets can be obtained by completing the Natlan and Nod-krai Trounce domains. Rainbowdrop Crystals are found in Nod-krai, so you will have to search and find them. White Iron Chunks are found in the Wild as well, with the recommended locations being Stormbearer Mountains and Wolvendom.

All Nod-Krai Craftable Weapons and Their Stats and Effects

Each Nod-Krai craftable weapon offers unique stats and passive effects tailored to specific playstyles. Players can forge these weapons at local forges using regional materials gathered from Nod-Krai’s environments. Each weapon features distinct base attack values, secondary stats such as Crit Rate, Energy Recharge, or ATK%, and passive bonuses that enhance combat performance in different ways-such as boosting elemental damage, increasing skill damage, or providing buffs after triggering elemental reactions. Collecting blueprints and refining these weapons allows players to maximize their potential across characters suited to various roles.

Now that you know how to get Nod-Krai craftable weapons, here are the actual stats and effects of them. The following sections also contain the Nod-Krai craftable weapon materials, so get ready to pre-farm the White Stone Chunks and Billets before Nod-Krai releases.

Which Nod-Krai weapon is best for main DPS characters

For most traditional on-field main DPS characters, none of the Nod-Krai craftable weapons are “best in slot”, but Prospector’s Shovel and Blackmarrow Lantern stand out the most when actually used as main DPS stat sticks. The others (Serenity’s Call, Snare Hook, Master Key) are generally tuned more for reaction/utility and support roles than for raw front-line damage.

Overall best “main DPS-style” picks

  • Prospector’s Shovel (polearm): Has higher base ATK and an ATK% substat tailored for on-field polearm carries, making it the closest thing to a generic main-DPS Nod-Krai weapon.

  • Blackmarrow Lantern (catalyst): Extremely strong for Bloom/Lunar Bloom-centric catalyst on-field DPS due to high Elemental Mastery and direct Bloom damage buffs.

  • These two are the best choices if your main DPS is a polearm or catalyst focused on reaction damage rather than pure normal-attack scaling.

Why the others are less “main DPS”

  • Serenity’s Call (sword): Great HP-scaling and ER sword for Nilou/Furina-type characters, but it is primarily a support/reaction driver option rather than a crit/ATK stick for classic main DPS sword units.

  • Snare Hook (bow) and Master Key (claymore): Centered around Energy Recharge plus Elemental Mastery stacking from reactions, which is more valuable for enabling teams and quick-swap/reactive play than for maximizing on-field normal/charged attack damage.

Practical recommendation

  • If your main DPS is a reaction-focused catalyst or polearm, Blackmarrow Lantern or Prospector’s Shovel can function as very strong free options.

  • If your main DPS is a standard crit/ATK-scaling carry (e.g., typical sword, bow, or claymore DPS), older craftable weapons or gacha 4★/5★ options will usually outperform the Nod-Krai craftables in raw DPS.

If you tell which character you mean (name and role), a more precise “best Nod-Krai weapon for that DPS” recommendation is possible.

Best Nod-Krai swords for on-field DPS builds

Among the Nod-Krai craftable weapons, Serenity’s Call is the only sword and it is not designed as a pure on-field DPS weapon; it is primarily an HP-scaling, Energy Recharge-focused option for HP-based or reaction-oriented sword users. For standard on-field DPS sword builds that want high ATK, Crit Rate/DMG, and straightforward damage passives, older forgeable or gacha swords generally outperform Serenity’s Call in raw damage.

What Serenity’s Call actually does

  • Provides an Energy Recharge secondary stat and a passive that increases Max HP, making it ideal for HP-scaling sword characters from Nod-Krai (and similar units) rather than classic ATK/crit main carries.

  • Functions best in teams where the sword user either scales strongly with HP or plays as a reaction driver/off-field unit, not as a traditional auto-attack DPS.

When to use (and when to skip)

  • Use Serenity’s Call if your “on-field DPS” sword unit is HP-scaling or wants a mix of ER and survivability more than crit and raw ATK.

  • If your on-field DPS is a conventional carry like a crit-focused sword main, prioritize other 4★ or 5★ swords (event, gacha, or older craftables), and treat Serenity’s Call as a niche or temporary option rather than a best-in-slot damage choice.
